Apart from the through ball from - was it Fer? - into Tammy and the cheeky flick from Ayew to Carrol in the area it was all way too slow and predictable. |  |

I thought, initially, that Newcastle came for a point, we were playing so deep and slow in the first half I don't think they could believe their luck.
They came out in the second half looking confident they could go on and win the game, apart from a brief spell late on in the second half we didn't look like scoring.

Well that was awful.
Our midfield creativity is absolutely non existent. No pace, no zip, no width, no ideas, no clue.
