Without wishing to anticipate Clive's previews (which I hope will include wise words from the resident cottager Konk), what are people's thoughts on Saturday?
I've seen Fulham a few times this season and have been very impressed. I backed them at 7/1 to make the playoffs after we turned them over.
Their midfield looks the best in the division to me.
It will be a real test for young Manning. However it goes for him, he'll certainly learn plenty and be a better player for the experience.
Do we sit back and try and nick one on the break, ala Reading, or will playing at home force us to chase the game?
The loft is home to some of Rangers most authentically working class fans and a hotbed of Trade union activism and class struggle. Karl Marx famously said of QPR, "Class consciousness is key if the proletariat are to overthrow the capitalist class, and in all my travels, never have I met a group of people as class conscious as the supporters of the Queen's Park Rangers. I expect the revolution will begin in Shepherd's Bush. Or Russia. But probably the Bush".

These Rangers fans have come straight from work at the Ruislip Colliery to watch the match — thousands of authentically working class workers will join them from mines throughout the Middlesex coalfield as well as the shipyards of Berkshire, the Steelworks of Buckinghamshire and the slums of Holland Park, Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove.

Logged on purely to bow down and worship the comic genius of the funniest man to come out of Fulham since Tommy Trinder!

Brilliant.
I'm a confused soul, Konk.
On the one hand, I do own a couple of tweed jackets (it's the national hunt racing fan in me!), but on the other, I am genuinely disappointed when the Upper Loft has sold out of Chicken Balti pies!
Also, those scenes you have captured significant over represent the actual space out the back of the Upper Loft.

Mate, even the lads you’ve known since school completely forgot you weren’t Fulham - possibly the finest undercover work since Gary Johnston’s “Derka derka” effort in Team America:
PS. You’ll be pleased to know that the horsey obsession shows no sign of abating: we’re now up to 2 (Two!) Hobby horses, a horse puppet, a horse pillow, fu ck knows how many Schleich horses, various horse magazines, a horse jigsaw, a stable set and a horse sweatshirt…if he’s not camped out in Ladbrokes by the age of ten, I’ll eat my top hat.

Following a crackdown on Trade union activity within the Gdansk shipyards, QPR fans march through Notting Hill in a show of fraternal support.
After attempts to silence critics of the Uncle Tone regime, a delegation of Trade union officials from Gdansk visit London in a defiant gesture of solidarity.
The direction English translation of the Polish word, SolidarnoÅ›ć (Noun F) is #wertogether

Ah, the proper build up for Saturday has begun.
Thank you Konk & the rest of you for these enlightening illustrations! I managed to escape the famed steelworks of Bucks for pulling the ploughs in Suffolk. I hope this still entitles to be a Ranger!
Strange how no Pensioner ever posted in the same manner.

Don’t worry Terry — you are very much a proper R despite leaving the Blast furnaces of Bucks behind. It doesn't even matter if you work in the City, live in Chalfont St Giles and own a holiday home in Southwold - all Rangers fans are working class heroes. It’s in the DNA.

I dreamt last night that we played really well before a Fulham player scored in the last few minutes after clearly fouling one of our defenders. I woke up feeling very depressed. Fk it, why can't I dream of us winning????

Keen to make amends for last year's 'no tops, no tails' Rblock assimilation mission failure, Jezza, Miles and the rest of the chaps, still spurred on to take the home end by their ever growing fury at the terms of The Great Reform Act of 1832, are confident this year's extensive Attire and Cultural Study Programme will not have gone to waste.

Meanwhile, Rupert dances in anticipation of an easy Fulham victory, as his flunky carefully navigates a lesser known Thames tributary en route to the wildlands.

That was the preliminary meeting to set-up interview. The interview itself took place just outside my office. Clive gives great shine, by the way. Some fantastic buffing.
