Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

We really could fall as we did in the eighties if Huw Jenkins isn't replaced.

It's actually ALL down to him

What match is Clement watching? McBurnie should have been on at 60" and Borja should never be seen in a Swans uniform ever again. Lets get 2 more Championship players for no more than 7 mill!

Uniform.

Unfortunately i cant see the evidence of the improved coaching from where I'm sat. I could work for anchelotti and his teams would still win games. Another year another average manager.

It's looking clear why no other Premier League side considered him.

Honestly I can't really look at today as a sign of what is to come. Mainly I feel that there was quite a few bits of bad fortune, and it has sinked into the attitude. Not as though were cut adrift.

Give him a break.

He's only been there a week or so and we are playing Arsenal with a load of below average players.

As soon as the first five minutes of the second half had played out, it was clear how this was going to end.

Yep, it's more or less the same every game. Nicey nicey, mamby pamby, going through the motions with zero intensity in our play. A bit of pressure and we concede, no reaction from us, "OK lads, these lot are sh!t, let's steam roller them!" And that really is our season summed up.

No doubt there'll be threads later where people praise our performance in the first half. Completely unaware to the fact that Arsenal deliberately sat off us and let us pass it nicely in our half.

They clearly had a plan to begin pressing relentlessly in the second half and it has worked. We started the second half with both fullbacks bombing forward even when an attack wasn't on, and as soon as we lost it Arsenal turned it on and the game was over. Naughton caught out of position, just like many other goals this season where a full back has been caught out and a team countered down that side ans scored.

I think we showed a fair bit of intensity for first 20 - 30 mins, Dyer, Kingsley, Ki all closing down, intercepting etc

But they are not premiership quality anymore, if ever they were. as soon as we run out of huff and puff then the steamrolling start.

It was his first ever game in charge. Judging a manager with a shite group of players after a week in charge is incredibly naive.

At Least McBurnie is giving it a go out there.

It really might be time to look at plugging a few of our U23's into the Senior squad. They may not do much, but they can't do much worse.

Below average players and poor recruitment over the last 24 months.

There are plenty of threads on here reminding us of this.

It is NOT simply down to the manager. Our current predicament is a consequence of many failings at the club so nobody should be that surprised.

too early for the blame game yet ..

but bradley had a better debut against Arsenal .. away

and Guidolin had set us up not to be steamrollered by these teams and show a bit of bite on the break

maybe Guidolin was making the best with what he had ..

Curtis 1 win from 2 matches probably looking to be our most successful manager this season

Good manager can command respect straight away and give the side a lift just by their presence and personality. We haven't got the time for a rookie manager who's going to take 6 months to work out how and who we should play.

Well the Hull manager is doing alright with a rubbish group of players and he is only two games in.

Who would have thought that the man with extensive experience and success as a manager is out performing the man with who was sacked from his one job as a manager and has been an assistant manager unable to get a Premier League job for years before we came begging.

I've been told that a lot won't come on this forum because it's so negative

Well lads, i think that it is clear that along with Narsingh, Olsson and Carrol, we still need another 3/4 players who are capable of stepping straight into the first team.
