Fab was a free signed from Arsenal. I'd expect him to be reasonably high up the scale?

Keiran Gibbs? on 13:03 - Jan 31 by hobo | Tayls would be on around 30k. If we could offer Gibbs 30k-35k with assurances that he'd get more game time than he's getting at Arsenal then I think that may be enough to tempt him |
30K a month maybe. Some people are in lala land re players' wages.

Sounds about right for Siggy, Cork and Rangel. Probably a bit low for Fab and the opposite for Taylor.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Keiran Gibbs? on 20:53 - Jan 31 with 1817 views | jruss1 | No way is Fabianski on 20k a week. He's already signed a new contract since arriving, must be up around the 50k a week mark surely.

I suspect you're wrong here. As for Gibbs, a major upgrade. It's a yes from me.

Cheap as chips for Newcastle, they're assembling players like people buy food for the snow, ffs.

Keiran Gibbs? on 19:06 - Jan 31 by Jango | I very much doubt Taylor is on £30k a week. I think people get carried away with wages. Ayew and Gomis are on big wages due to the sign on fee included. Bare in mind that dele Alli has just signed a new deal on £25k a week and paloschi is apparently on £17k a week. Taylor won't be on more than £15k-£20k tops in my opinion |
Wages in Italy are public and Paloschi was earning 23.6k Euro symbols at Chievo. He won't have taken a small pay cut to come here. If you don't think Taylor's earning good money here just look at who his agent is and how much fuss was kicked up every transfer window he was behind Davies.

Keiran Gibbs? on 14:52 - Jan 31 by Thornburyswan | This. If the gaffer is planning a 3 CB plus 2 WB system Gibbs would be ideal. |
This. This is the sort of quality we shoild be after, not the Dwight Gayles of this world. I've no clue about wages though.
Keiran Gibbs? on 12:06 - Feb 1 with 1400 views | AussieSwan | any further word on him? I know LB isn't our biggest priority, but if he's available we should grab him. He's an upgrade on Taylor.

Wenger said a categorical no to Gibbs leaving on loan earlier on SSN.
Keiran Gibbs? on 12:20 - Feb 1 with 1070 views | Dewi1jack | Tayls has done ok on the right for us, Wales and Team GB. Not sure I'd want him there permanently as he's a left footer. And all we do is transfer the problem of Tayls going forward to the other side of the pitch. Tayls seems more confident going forward when there is someone like Routs, coming back to cover. Jeff doesn't/ won't/ can't defend. Gibbs would be an upgrade going forward, but won't catch Mo up, as seen by him trying to foul Mo 3 times before succeeding. Not sure if Gibbs is a better defender if we separate the 2 aspects of the job, but he is defo better at going forward than Tayls. So overall, that's why I came up with Gibbs would be an upgrade. Be a yes from me. We got Lukasz from them, why not Gibbs as well.

Keiran Gibbs? on 13:50 - Feb 1 with 1025 views | jasper_T | Coleman should have tried Taylor at left centre-back for Wales, with Ben Davies at wing-back. Would suit their strengths much more (if not their stature).
