If the current badge had been designed by and/or voted on by the fans I really don't think we'd hate it so much. I do think it's rank myself, but also the associsation with the £20 Dictator and the manner in which he foisted it upon us will always blacken it in my mind. If it had been done in consultation with us, I would probably look upon it fondly and be inclined to laugh at its oddness. |  |

Because it's a massive undertaking. Every piece of kit, merchandise, poster, billboard, plane wraps, advertising, all changes to incorporate the new design. The new design has to go on the tickets being sent out, the programmes being sold, the flags being made. All the old stock will have to be flogged cheap as it becomes discontinued, and we sell a lot of QPR branded crap.
You're going to completely change the one thing that's on EVERYTHING associated with QPR, it's not like just choosing something new and then having it on new shirts tomorrow. You'll have to re-fit and redecorate the whole of LR for starters.
It's so far down my list of things I want to see change at this club, it's more a 'nice to have' than a 'must change now' |  |
