That's because football fans like you and I are incapable of just watching a game. We desperately crave innovation at every opportunity otherwise we switch off. It's why we have choreographed handshakes at the start of games and goal music and all the rest of the wonderful developments that have changed the face of football in the last twenty years or so.

No, Matt Grimes.

Or Maud?

From the BBC website
"Their part-time players tired as the match wore on, with Ashley Grimes and Liam Sercombe going close, but Exeter were unable to turn heavy pressure into a goal."
Don't say - they've made a mistake??

Edit: sorry, repetition just read NiebieskiCzarny's post

Precisely

But it gets worse. No-ones going to bring their son/daughter to a game unless there's a plethora of entertainment added. People post that on here - about making it a "family fun" event - urrrrghhhhh!

The game itself is clearly insufficient these days.

And don't get me started on the intro's to football highlights programmes, some of which go on for 10 minutes before we see any action.

Aunty BBC will have loved the game last night....just the result they wanted to bring back viewers to their re-vitalised coverage of the FA Cup.

No Highlights programme till 6.30 Sunday BBC2. Match of the Day and Football League Show on Sat night taking precident over little old F.A.Cup.

With ten - I don't know why there's so many - ties played on Sunday, I suppose the BBC could claim it'll not be until Sunday evening that the whole round can be covered (as the programme runs from 6.30 to 8.00 I assume every goal will be shown).

Cummins should be charged with false pretenses for impersonating a professional footballer.

With 4 goals (same as at Dale last season, and at Preston when he was there) he's Exeter's leading scorer ...

It was pretty funny, he'd go quiet for five minutes then all of a sudden shout out "LOOK HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO THEM!!!"

if I see Ray Winstons massive face during one more live game I think I might lose it.

Life is a game of fate.
