So if the ball goes really high in the air then it will block someones view for a nano second or two?

So it wont prevent them enjoying the game at all?

They will have a slight negative impact to the Ospreys. Although they hardly ever use the seats in question (once every 2 years v the Scarlets). They would just not have them in use or sell them at a reduced restricted view rate.

In terms of the Swans very few people would be affected. However, if my season ticket seat suddenly was blocked from seeing parts of the game in the air, such as Jonjo Shelvey's wonder goal I wouldn't be too happy.

It looks decieving in that webcam picture, but I'd say theres no chance it will affect your view of the pitch. The planners need shooting if it does!..... That said, I wouldnt be surprised if those directly behind it are unable to see the big screen in the opposite stand. Which will be a bummer for some

Liberty Stadium planners / management in cocking something up shock! Would hardly be the first timethe best laid plans haven't worked - Saturday 9th August 2014 ring any bells?

It is attached and it will block some people's views of the ball in the air. The pitch will be visible. As Jackfath and Blaze said it might also block the vision of the opposite screen for some people at the back of the North and South stands too.

Always happy to admit a bad call so I owe you an apology and you are likely to be right.

Thank you for your apology Phil. It's not really necessary, but it is appreciated. I'm sure the club will accommodate any fans in the South that might have their sight lines affected. And as for the North Stand, they will be away supporters so f*ck em!

There is no way that will block anyones view of the game. It isnt attached to the roof yet so clearly mid construction

Looks like it's fixed up now, also some lovely stripes on the pitch today.

It looks now like they're testing the screens, so I guess that is their final position.

Just been down there having a mooch about the Platinum lounge.
The screens look bloody big from inside the stadium!

Pitch looking lush too

The old screen is right at the front of the roof. If you were to imagine it halfway down the roof and a lot lower, I'm not too sure. Saying that I'm sure from a sitting position the opposite screen will be visible, from the back row..

Was down stadium earlier picking up tickets for cup game and gate was open by T/O so I wondered in and took a look at screens... Fook me they are big!!!
Was chatting to one of the guys who fitted them and he said they had to move them up a bit as it was initially obstructing the view for anyone sitting in the last few rows...
He said that whoever was in the back row of South would be able to see pitch but obviously nothing going ariel and of course also not the screen opposite.
He also told me the club had bought new electronic boards which have been wrapped around pitch. They are double sided like at a few other grounds..
Interestingly he also told me Liverpool & Everton shared their pitch side advertising screens moving them back and fore each game up until last season!!
Finally I asked him what he thought the cost was and he reckoned not much change out of a million squid when all said & done. Or 1 live game on sky ( using his own words)....
Did take a couple of pics but don't have a clue how to upload them sorry!!!
