Five Games Free in League One campaign
Five Games Free in League One campaign

Buying a season ticket at Dale for next season will ensure that you get the equivalent of five free matches with what must be the cheapest season tickets in the division.

It doesn't matter whether you choose to get your season ticket in the Pearl Street end, the Sandy Lane terrace or the Main Stand, each season ticket is marked at such a price that it works out at the equivalent of five matches free of charge.

And despite the forthcoming season being the historic League One campaign, there is very little price difference between this year and last. Main Stand season tickets are unchanged from last season's general sale price of £360, the Sandy Lane season tickets are just £5 more expensive at £270, with the Pearl Street season tickets even a pound cheaper than they were at this time last year at £324.

To put these prices in some sort of context, when you consider our cheapest season ticket is £270, it puts us significantly at one of the best valued season tickets around.

The cheapest season ticket at Sheffield Wednesday is £392, the cheapest at Southampton is £382 and the cheapest at Oldham is £375. Indeed, even with our fellow promoted sides, you find the cheapest at Notts County is £325, the cheapest at Dagenham is £330 and the cheapest at Bournemouth is £304.

Excellent piece. So a 20% increase next year for the Sandy then and we will still be amongst the cheapest!!! Joking apart, we are great value and yet people still moan. No wonder we are likely to have the second lowest budget in Div 1.

Come on Daleys, buy your tickets and let's make sure we have record ticket sales before we kick off in August
