Ready to Drive 5,874 Miles in League One Sunday, 24th May 2015 19:08 by Editor So the line up for League One is now complete. Congratulations Preston North End - enjoy your moment. The horrible reality of a season (and probably more, unless we go straight back down!) in the third tier of English football only hits home when you see where we will be heading in the next 12 months. Those grounds that we thought we'd left long behind like Spotland, Gigg Lane, Boundary Park, Gresty Road and Vale Park (we realise many of these have now changed their names but can't embrace sponsored grounds) will all be back on the map next season as Blackpool fans look to travel nearly 6,000 miles following their side next season. From the 9 mile drive to Fleetwood to the 280 to Gillingham, League One offers grounds that are within an hours drive and those that will take substantially longer. June 17th will be the date that no Blackpool fan will be looking forward to as the fixtures are released and we get to find out where and when we're off to - shortly afterwards it will be difficult to contain the excitement as we hear our fate in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy draw. In the meantime, start working out those grounds you fancy next season and the mileage you'll be racking up if you're travelling from Bloomfield Road Bradford - 80 Miles Burton - 119 Miles Bury - 49 Miles Chesterfield - 100 Miles Colchester - 277 Miles Coventry - 143 Miles Crewe - 75 Miles Doncaster - 116 Miles Fleetwood - 9 Miles Gillingham - 280 Miles Millwall - 252 Miles Oldham - 56 Miles Peterborough- 195 Miles Port Vale - 82 Miles Rochdale - 47 Miles Scunthorpe - 130 Miles Sheff Utd - 91 Miles Shrewsbury - 104 Miles Southend - 272 Miles Swindon - 200 Miles Walsall - 122 Miles Wigan - 37 Miles If you would like to join AVFTT to access all the sites features and comment on the message board and articles, then register for free here http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/blackpool/login/register Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
