In the, very, cold light of day. It’s ok to feel angry, especially those who were actually there. I think we all expected a really good go after what was said in advance. Didn’t happen. A large issue was lack of luck..team selection? Maybe might have saved us on the day, but probably not as quite simply, Leicester have a better squad if they were motivated. And they were. So it’s ok to be fed up today, but there’s no need to throw the toys out yet. |

In the past when we have had a cup selection which was obviously disrespectful to the competition and the fans, the line up contained more than a few somewhat obscure names many never to be seen and heard of again. That wasn’t the case today. All the starting 11 are regular first team squad players..as were the subs. I think we were expecting a half hearted Leicester effort, didn’t get it, and once adjusted, gave them a run for their money. So no need to over react. |

I managed to watch most of the game. Very odd. For most of first half we were the better team. Looked relaxed and confident. Then two bits of over confidence and boom boom goals on the break.
Back in it and 2nd half looked like it would be fun. However the early penalty was really unlucky and that was that…numbers 3,5 and 6 were real beauties that wouldn’t happen like that in our league.
Overall, a taste of what life would be like if we went up. Leicester played well because the tension was off. I think we were shocked by the way they went about things..their team was that bit more experienced than us and they had all the luck.
I think it will be back to normal next time out for them and us. |

I really hope we give this a shot. Would give the season a lift and theres every chance of a good shop window effect, particularly for our loanees. Don’t forget the televised games are free to air …there’s a surprisingly large number who avoid Sky like the plague but love their football. An injury crisis to match what we’ve had us unlikely…and Saturday is within the window still for a loan should another disaster strike. As long as the line up reflects the current match day squad, starting 11 could be any of them. Come on Marti..give us some fun and Palace again in round 4! |

This guy is properly off his head! As far as I remember the Saracens have always been kind of admired — hence the Rugby bunch. Back in those days there was mutual respect alongside the crazy religious nonsense that lead to violence. I think the guy needs to watch Robin Hood Prince of thieves, Kingdom of Heaven etc…and get a life. Mind you, pretty good publicity for you and nice to know there’s a hospitable watering hole for us lot. |

Maybe someone who was actually there can confirm…not really clear on the TV, but was this more a tactical blunder than the goalies fault? Looks like he may have been deliberately positioned well up the pitch as part of their set up for corners given that we had everyone back. So not so much a howler more a brilliant pass and execution by Varane and Smyth. Expect the same v Preston. Perhaps we should give away more corners! |

Oh dear. Has had limited experience at this level and it showed. Blatant inconsistency and inexplicable decisions. Luckily made no difference, but imagine him reffing Norwich. Felt a bit sorry for him. |
