Hes in the squad and under RK;s style hes got a good chance of playing. He is the standout, exciting forward for the U21s. Quick..scores like you said, good free kicks. Must have defensive probs I guess 'cause hes looked dangerous when ever Ive seen him. Love to see him against Millwall!

We need to find (if poss!) some decent songs/tunes to adapt that work for individual players aswell as club songs.
Twas a shame tadamari lee wasnt better and his version of 'viva rolnaldo' could've stuck around too.

- Meaning Champions league or challenging. Spurs were in that bracket but...no move.
That was his agent talking as usual a lot of hype im sure but it seems to ring true.
The money in Europe and EPL will be massive in comparison to Brazil but maybe he is calm about missing out on a move.
Damiao and his agent are iether just hanging on or he just doesn't fancy the move away from home.
Anyway he could treat any move as a stepping stone if you want to be cynical about it.
Is there a thing with the Brazil coach about having so many home based players in the national squad?

If its possible and we can do it Cortese will get him at the end of the window but there must be cheaper alternatives.
For the don Having the Brazil number 9 wearing a Saints shirt is a statement of ambition and status I think

Thought Chambers made a couple good crosses but made some bad decisions aswell. Lallana showing good signs.
Gaston need to get on the ball more. Demand it more
Teams look evenly matched. Couple of quality touches and chances from CV tho.

I hope we get Wanayama.
He is a power-house and will be a great addition to MoPo's pressing midfield.
Sounds like the deal is dead for us tho. I'm guessing Cortese has got pissed off with the agent asking for a 1mill cut and said forget it.
Will be annoying if Cardiff sign him for 11.3mill and channel the remaining mill to the agent. That would be the right thing in the short term. Only thing is you have to deal with that agent more frequently and Cortese would not have him on site if he hates him.
The fact Wanyama has gone nowhere yet keeps my faint hopes alive.

Saints have managed to (with the momentum gathered since Marcus L. and Cortese) convince great players including AL to see their future at Saints.. and move forward (considering the NA saga).

Which leaves us with the feeling that we can grow rather than have our players picked off easily as before.

Another great signing.
