Basically according to the guy, we’re ok as long as the owners don’t bugger orff. Plus we keep selling any of our good players. |

Nothing to do with this thread, but Anyone watching the snooker ? Is it me, or does Mark Selby look like Alan Sheehan? Especially when he’s looking down when queuing. I’ll get my coat ! |

I can’t think of one “scoop” they have ever come up with concerning The Swans. I don’t bother clicking on anything WOL, and I suggest everyone else does the same. They are journalistic leeches. I’m not blowing smoke up your you know what, but my first click of the day for up to date Swans news is always here on The Indy. I remember when these new owners took over, and you were the first to say there were some “serious” investors in the background. I wonder if this could be one of the reasons Luka Modric has got involved with Swansea City fc. ? Thanks again Keith and all at The Indy for all your hard work, in keeping us bang on up to date with anything Swans related 👏👏 |

Superb team performance, and genius team setting up by Alan Sheehan 👏👏 Give him the job now, before someone else does The high pressing and closing down was top notch. Lewis O’Brien, what can I say, the guy is inhumane for his work rate. His commitment to our cause is second to none, you’d swear he was born in Penlan ! We have to break the bank to sign him, he is that good for us. If the owners are serious investors, it’s an absolute no brainier. If they sign him on a 4 yr contract, hopefully we’ll get a season out of him, before premiership clubs come calling, and they’ll more than double or treble their investment. The recent team performances and tactics by AS have been light years ahead of our last 2 incumbents ie Martinball & Lukewarm. Who said we’ve got a shite squad? and see what a “proper” coach / manager can do with them. After the turnaround of these players and performances, it would be football madness to now let him go. And go he would too, because he’s had a taster of being the boss, excelled at it, and isn’t going to settle for less. Sign him up ! |

Those 340 fans should be part or fully funded by the owners, for their commitment to their club. Fantastic support for such a long trip, especially in these hard financial times. Superb effort YJB’s 👏👏👏 |
 | Forum Reply | Thoughts on Vipotnik tonight ? at 06:56 10 Apr 2025
He’s effin useless !! I’m sick and tired of people saying he doesn’t get the service, and we don’t play to his strengths. He hasn’t got any that’s why !. He missed 2 sitters, has zero physically for a big lump, never gets on the end of corners and set pieces because he can’t jump. He has a good strong, straight shot, and that’s it. I feel I must qualify this gloom & doom, by saying it was a pleasure to watch that team performance last night, apart from the finishing, that’s the type of football that would bring me back to The Stadium. Special mention to sick note Joe Allen, reminded me of King Leon, where he kept things ticking over in midfield and gave us momentum going forwards. Also, if these owners want a return on their investment ie. Back to the land of milk & honey, (The Prem) break the bank and sign up O’Brien, he has star quality. Sell or loan out Vipotnik and Bianchini to free up their wages to help pay for him |

I think the answer is that the owners have already made their minds up. He’s already hear, so no compo to pay, he’s steadied the ship after Williams run us aground, and he’s cheap ! |

It’s easy for us to have a go at a players who earn what we think is a ridiculous amount a week, just for kicking a football. They especially deserve stick if they don’t show the commitment the shirt deserves. But I have to say, the poor lad looks like a rabbit in the headlights. His confidence is completely shot and needs to be rested for his own good. There’s a player in there, because I thought he looked a real prospect when he first played for us. Confidence is everything in sport, and when you loose it and it’s your living, it must play havoc with your mind. A good coach / manager should take him out of the firing line, and start building his confidence back. |

Providing he doesn’t loose the next 3 games,I can’t believe anyone imagines for a single minute that Coleman and the board, are not going to go with Alan Sheehan until the end of the season. ‘Cause he’s cheap innit? Obviously if AS is a raving success, who could blame them. But, it will bring into focus the real ambitious of the new owners. If they have real intentions of investing and a return to The Premier league, do they take a chance on an untried inexperienced manager, or concentrate from now until summer, on carrying out their due diligence on someone capable of delivering that vision? |
 | Forum Reply | 🔴 Likely candidates for the Swans job at 09:37 18 Feb 2025
I have absolutely zero faith or confidence in Andy Pandemonium sourcing us the right man, to make us a viable Championship outfit again. Our only hope is The Board carry out the due diligence required, and take Coleman off the coal face, and give him a desk job. |

What really gets me is I was so chuffed when the 2 previous muppets K & L decided to cash in their chips, I really thought it was the dawning of a new era. How wrong was I ? We’ve replaced 2 muppets with 1 clown. His bull$hit about the transfers, the general bs that comes out of him, and his inability to act on getting rid of one of the most useless, tactically bereft of ideas manager, we’ve had since I can remember, sums him up a treat. Luke Williams’s job would have been well passed the “Untenable “ stage, at any club bar ours. The question I ask is…WTF are the new owners doing about it ? |
