That is the frustrating thing. He should be dominating in this league. |

The best draw we could have hoped for. If we do progress to Wembley the club should be harvesting as much data as possible and market the life out season tickets ect for next year. |

I thought the atmosphere was better with some good player related songs, which for me are always better than negative anti Bury or Oldham ones. Waller was made up to hear his song before the game. If they are going to move there permanently then supporters need to know before season tickets go on sale then people can adjust accordingly when they make their decisions. It may be bad that people feel they have to move, but there are enough seats elsewhere and sometime a trade off has to be made. |

Bird was booked for (kind of, it was soft) kicking the ball away after a free kick had been awarded against him, although later in the game an Alty player did the same and the ref did not book him. [Post edited 3 Mar 11:53]

It is to 'manage supporters' expectations' and take the pressure off the players. Manager interviews have to been seen for what they are. No manager who is constantly having a go at his players in pupil will last very long. The public and private personas of a manager could well be different and whilst Jim appears to be a 'players coach' I suspect he will have given some bollockings but these remain private. We will never get anything different. Even after an awful performance, in public it will be pitch, tired, young squad, injuries, other team are really good etc behind closed doors there will be fewer excuses. Whilst we might have said the forthcoming run of fixtures provides an ideal opportuntity. There is a potential Wembly appearance, key games in which players who might not have had much game time can show their worth and players can put in performances that earn new contracts and maybe even the club promotion. Let's embrace it, enjoy the ride and see where it takes us. |

He is lacking match practice. Keep him fresh for Tuesday. He did really well holding the ball up and linking play. He took his goal really well. First half was really good, after the early subs it wasn't great but we looked fairly comfortable. [Post edited 1 Mar 17:22]

You would be great, as would a number of other regular posters on this board. There needs to be diversity of opinion, people who are prepared to be contrarian and no sycophants. |

I feel sorry for those who have travelled. From no pitch inspection to being called off at 1815 is shocking. It is not as if there has been lots of rain since Saturday. |

He was playing well before he got injured earlier in the season. If he stays fit he could be a key player during the rest of the season. The left side yesterday was a real strength. |

Do you know when the Oldham fixtures are or should I ask Spoon Head? |

No Forest Green away next Saturday. |

Very detailed article so fair play to the club. It does make grim reading. |

Ayinde looked a decent player before his injury. His work rate was really good for a wide forward. I wonder what is up with McBride? Again he has had a decent impact when he has been fit. |

To be fair that is a decent update and they have at least tried to do two things (however much use they will be) to get the game on. |

No it has never been used for away supporters and it has not been communicated. I only found out when I tried to book tickets. Off to the main stand where I have probably booted someone out of their usual seat. We have been starved of meaningful home games recently and I am sure lots of supporters will want to attend. It is a winnable game in a competition that offers a trip to Wembley. |

No. The block I sit in has been given over to away supporters. There has been very little made of this game. I only saw that tickets had gone on sale by looking, on the off chance on the online ticketing system. It is as if they do not want people to attend the game. [Post edited 28 Dec 2024 15:34]

Bit of a strange one. Block W on the Pearl Street has been closed to home supporters as well. A good win on Wednesday and we may have had a a decent crowd for the Stockton game, especially with the lower prices. Restricting home support to one and a half stands with no standing option does not seem a good idea, especially when the club are trying to grow crowds. |

Has the weather been that bad? It's not raining that heavy now so conditions won't get much worse. The pitch looked in decent nick on Tuesday so I'm not sure how it could have deteriorated so much in a few days. |
