Injury Update
at 17:39 4 Mar 2025

The club would like to provide supporters with an injury update as we head into the final 11 fixtures of the 2024/25 season.
All timelines are subject to the players continuing on their current rehabilitation paths.

Unfortunately, Sam Field sustained an ankle injury following a tackle in our fixture at Portsmouth on February 22nd.
The midfielder will now start a rehabilitation process with a projected return to full fitness in 6-9 weeks.

Rayan Kolli has been sidelined for the past fortnight but is on course to rejoin full training with the squad by the middle of March.
Žan Celar has been working hard to overcome the hamstring injury he sustained in our home fixture against Norwich in December. The striker is progressing well and is increasing his loading as he works towards rejoining team training.

Jake Clarke-Salter is continuing his early rehabilitation following surgery on a hip injury in January. The defender is making good early progress.

Harvey Vale is progressing through his early rehab work as part of his recovery from his lower back injury. Next month he is expected to start phase two of his rehab which will be focusing on his physical development in preparation to return to pitch-based rehab in April.

Another start for Esquerdinha/Da Silva/Whatever they're calling him this week. If anyone has been, I'd be fascinated to hear what the early opinion of him has been

walk, car, train, bus or fly....

Usually a walk to the living room to turn on QPR+

Otherwise its a flight from Barcelona which I can't do very often. Occasionally though when we are playing away in some northern backwater, it would be cheaper for me to get there flying than it would for those of you coming on the train from London!

Won 5-4 on pens in the final, 1-1 in normal time. Bennie started and played 98 minutes

None of the new dev lads are on their, him, Cian Dillon and Archie O'Brien. So guess they just haven't got round to updating that section of the website yet

Louie Barry injured and back at Villa, blow for Hull before he's even got started.

That is probably likely and I'd imagine all the 'big guns' back for that one. But also I suppose they already stuck 5 past Swansea last week so might as well give another bunch of them a go!

Anyone know what's happened to Teddy Tarbotton? Haven't seen him involved in a while

Yeah thats a fair point, less bad than the other two at least. I was sure it was going to be Varane coming off

A good 2 to 3 minutes of this injury time the ball has been out of player. I doubt we'll see that reflected though

I was shouting at Jimmy not to attempt that. Which is why I am sitting on LFW rather than involved in pro football. Great goal

Brilliant from Yang, a huge upgrade on Smyth. But Lloyd needs to be burying that chance

Yang, Lloyd and Colback for Smyth, Frey and Field. All had poor games

Superb goal but enabled by Jimmy Dunne being nowhere near him again

Better now, getting Saito on the ball and that means creating chances

There is the 18th minut injury/time to talk to the players. Every game, much needed

Jimmy Dunne is getting roasted by Josh/Jacob Murphy here. Whichever one it is.
