As Simmo says I think it's a pretty flagrant attempt to remove opposition to the 3pm blackout.
I've always been in favour of it but am not any more, which is clearly entirely the point. |

Predictably, now 12.30 March 15.
Slightly less predictably it's not the main game, just on the poxy streaming service.,
The main match that lunchtime is the BIG ONE between Millwall and Stoke. |

Field is Field, good at what he does, bad at what he doesn't. He's not going to change now.
Varane is the one I've thought about a lot today. He's got the physique and ability to be some player. We've seen some flashes from him already. He's the one with the profile to be the 'big sale' from the summer intake. And yet more often than not he cannot or will not move his arse 15-20 yards further up the field. He sits on the edge of our own box, he passes backwards when there are forward passes on, he will not turn and go forwards even with time to do so.
If we're going to develop him he's got to go forwards more. He can do it, we've seen it, look at the technique on that Leicester goal. He was a big problem when he came on last night. Him and Field together way too deep compared to how we are with Colback or Morgan playing. If we don't beat this out of his game he'll just be this decade's Mikele Leigertwood. |

Hmmm, pretty fanciful to say that all that time gets added back on. I think you'd genuinely have to stage an alien invasion on the pitch to get a Championship referee to add more than 1/2 to the first half and 4/5 to the second. Lazy and at times farcical. |

Referees have been royally shafted by the latest "interpretation" of the rule here which is essentially you can do as you like as long as it's mutual and the referee has a bit of a word with you before the corner is taken. A farce, as it was always going to be. |

FFR we got a £6 train from Marylebone to Leamington, had a lovely afternoon pub and restaurant crawling around there, 25 min empty train straight to the ground for about £3. So we'll be doing that again.
Afterwards pre-booked taxi app to the big, empty, unused taxi rank down in the south east corner behind the death star Tesco. Guy was waiting there for us, back at the station by 2215, beers/bleach load up at the Sainsburys, made the 2240 and back in London in time for the last tubes.
It's taken us 20 years, but I think we finally cracked this shthole.
