A lot for Marti to reflect on
Watching us this season, other than the 2nd half at Luton, I think we are actually getting slightly worse each game.
Dembele was brilliant for the first few games. Who needs Chair I thought? But the past few games hes been a passenger.
Varane has never impressed and I am at a loss as what the club saw in him. Total lightweight.
Far too many of our players are far too casual with their passing and tracking back when they lose the ball. Far too slow with taking advantage from gaining posession. We get a free kick and then wait until everyone on the opposition team has got back into position before we then (generally) just tap it sideways or backwards.
And why are our corners now never getting past their first man. Our corners have, like much of our game, got worse and worse this season.
And throw ins - dont get me started. Its not just this season but for years its seemed that when we have a throw in no one wants the ball.. no one makes space. No one wanst to take a quick throw and catch out the opposition. Its all wait wait and then throw to someone who invariably doesnt wnat the ball and within a touch the opposition have it back again.
Other than Frey and often Smyth, no one seems to have any energy or desire to attack.
I really thought that this season MC would build on last seasons final 3 months and we would comfortably be mid table. From what I have seen so far this season I fear we are in for another bumpy ride among the bottom 4 or 5.
If we do not change our ways fast and start playing with energy, desire and a plan then we are in trouble.
We need to beat Hull next week, if not I can see fans might begin 'turning'. Lose on Tuesday and we could well be in the bottom 3. |

Using Sky Sport + last week and this I get frequent buffering. As someone else has said its like watching a dodgy stream.
A couple of times last night it just closed down the last instance was just as paal was about to take the penalty. The screen went blank and by the time everything had reset we had won!

Totally frustrating today. Yes we should have won and by 3 or 4 goals. But the performance gives me great encouragement for the coming season.
The news guys all played well and will only get better
Dembele is a Gem.
And once Celar starts scoring I don’t think he will stop.

Poor performances all round. Since we scored we have been getting worse and worse.
Paal especially poor today but plenty others are running him close
So far the replacement for Dykes is no better.
But I have faith that in 3 or 4 weeks time this team will have improved immensely and start winning regularly |

I’ve used Surfshark and also Cyberghost. Both worked well in Thailand and Singapore as well as in Portugal.
You can often get these with around hefty cash back from Quidco or Topcashback. Currently on Quidco they are both offering over 50% cash back. I have seen cash backs of up to 90% at times |

Suffering the most terrible hayfever in my teens I was told by my Doctor that people grew out of hayfever by their 40s. Yeah right!
My only respite was when in my early 40s my doctor gave me a Kenalog injection in my backside. It worked. And for the next 3 years I had the injection in early April and hayfever was a thing of the past.
I then moved abroad for 10 years and hardly had any hayfever at all.
Then back to the UK and the birch and beech pollen plus cats and dogs and grass started it all up again.
But now the NHS will not give you Kenalog! So now its the trustly Lidl tablets which seem to work :)

I second the solar panels
Got my first EV in 2015 (as mentioned above) and also got solar at the same time.
I do about 8000 miles per year and I reckon 70% or more of that is free miles as I charge the car regularly from the surplus solar. |

I've been 100% full EV sionce 2015 and I've never regretted the decision.
Currently have a Kona 64 which has a real world range of 325miles plus in the summmer and 275 in the winter.
Charging costs 7.5p per kw so about £5 for 300+miles of driving. never once had any 'range anxiety' .
So many untruths about EVs being quoted as gospel in mainstream media and certain youtubers (ie MacMaster)
Last month I travelled from Devon to Norwich 356 miles (6.5 hours of driving) which only necessitated one charging stop whilst we had breakfast at Rugby services
If you are able to charge at home then an EV with decent range is a no brainer. I even saw last week the new Model Y on offer for a 3year , 10,000 miles per year, Personal Lease direct from Tesla at just £399 per month. |

I know the season has been full of its or buts. The many missed "should have scored" goals and last minute goals conceded etc, but I fear the Begovich flap up against Plymouth last week will be the two points that cost us our Championship status.. We had 3 points in the bag rather than the 1 we ended up with. A win then I think we would have survived even if we do not get another point in the next 3 games (which I can't see us getting).

Willock spent
Chair selfish and predictable
Armstrong poor and not Championship standard
Dykes useless and also not Championship standard
I would have taken Willock off at half time and played Smyth.
Dykes is not part of the solution so he’s part of the problem
That said fine margins. Their first goal was a fluke. That doesn’t happen or Andersen scores it’s a different game. But we could have played another 6 hours and we wouldn’t have scored
We need somehow to survive this season and then have a clear out in the summer allowing a rebuild. Get rid of Dykes, Willock, Armstrong. Sell Chair. Start the rebuild from there |

I believe he has been the lynchpin of our improved performances in 2024. The best of our January 'transfers in' .
Its crucial he stays fit and plays the last 6 games
And as for next season he would be an absolute amazing signing |
