from last night was how good we were whilst being Willockless. Like most, i found it difficult to enjoy the match, even though we were superb. Armstrong and Dykes caused chaos, Chair seems to have more energy and get better by the game, Field won everything Paal n Laird, amazing. Despite all that, i was sure Beale was leaving, subsequently, hard to enjoy performance. After hearing news today, been on cloud 9.Way we are playing, without Willock, the changes he's making, the togetherness, is wonderful to see. Also, Beale comes across as so emotionally intelligent re his players. Never heard a manager communicate like him before. Everything feels a little special today. Roll on Saturday U Rrrss |

... Apart from the cnt with the drum... They should be banned, along with any other musical instrument brought into a stadium. What a night! So many stand out performances and loved the energy, belief, closing down etc. The number of sprints Chair made closing ppl down, back to cover was immense, incredible desire and fitness, lifted crowd. Johansson, Albert, Moses, Field, all amazing. Still can't quite believe it. Loved seeing what it meant to them all at final whistle. Re Sanderson, stupid unnecessary but he's young. Comes across as desperate to impress. I'd rather that than not. He would have felt like an absolute cnt at half time. Talk about learning curve.. Anyway roll on Sat UuRrs |

Having Willock and Chair in same team is a thing of beauty. Before he left, the way they were both interchanging and finding each other was bordering telepathic. Fantastic Willock has stepped up but they obviously love playing in same team together, which is enormous credit to Warbs for finding a way, and makes us pretty unique. Suppose fitness level is only question. Mentally, he must be so pissed off to have missed last 5 weeks for 30 min pitch time. Can't wait to see him back and to see if there is another level he can get to as Willock did.. |

A few hours as i only live round the corner. Watched highlights 3 or 4 times, studied league table, scouted Peterborough on sky and generally feel very very good about life. Against Swansea, was slightly disappointed with atmosphere, thought it would be rocking given where we are and how we're playing. Today was more like it! So happy for Amos, and so good to see how hungry we were from the off. And also such a relief to see an open game after Swansea. My mate and i call Albert the Anomoly, purely because his energy and fitness levels are incredible. Charlie take note! A very unusual feeling to have a game won so early, didn't quite know how to behave other than just feel content and happy in the world. As other ppl have said, Willock just keeps getting better, a joy to watch. Its as if he was upped his own level since Chair left . Field, Albert, Johansson Barbet all just fantastic. In fact there all fantastic. Even the loan dude who came on. A man possessed!! Anyway, best times in years and loving it U Rrrsss |

More about self-care and sanity. My way of dealing with hard times, is head in the sand and blanking it. Add to that the guilt I've felt knowing my son has become one of us... Its been a bit like child abuse taking him over the years! But now, belief and hope, powerful combination. Thankyou for your kind welcome kind sirs good to be back |

Since i last posted, mainly because I'd forgotten my password, but also cos haven't had much to say. Feel compelled to just pop in, say hello, share the love, and second what most people are seeing and saying. Been going and have had season tickets since late 90s,and there is really something in the air. Everything, from the way we play, the hunger, pride, last min goals, bandaged heads, 2 number 10s, a new Dunne, etc. Its just a joy to be a part of. Spent 10 min reading last post, moaning about Shaun Wright Philips being picked before Adel. How we've moved on and how great it feels to be so proud of whats going on. Can't wait till Tuesday Urrrss |
| Forum Reply | So much better without Adel at 08:51 10 Mar 2013
Couldnt agree more. Personally, playing as we did yesterday, scoring 3,without Adel, was a huge positive. Until recently,so much of our attacking ideas and work has gone through AT,and he has never hid, always showing, always trying to make things happen. Too much responsability for him,and unfair to blame our attacking shortcomings on him. The only way we are going to survive is by scoring, and to be in position we are in now, with Adel,Zamora,Hoillett,Townsend,Remy<Boothroyd, and sometime Mackie, with even Samba a huge threat in the air,all looking dangerous,i would rather have our personnel than any others of the teams around us. Whether he should start away to Villa,im really not sure, but to have the options we have atm can only be a positive. |
| Forum Reply | Why is SWP starting over Hoillet and Taarabt? at 18:05 16 Sep 2012
what on earth makes you think Adel is in a fight with Granero??...Adel will play on one of the 2 flanks in a 442 or behind a lone striker...Ale,Granero,Samba and Derry with maybe also Dyer for CM.Hoilett,Park,SWP,Adel will be the players fighting for 2 places... |

Spot-on...totally different player out wide.Unless he is part of a CM 3 and asked to do a marking job on someone,he should not be played there.,and what a chance that header was!...looked even easier on TV later.Great when he is playing in front of a FB that likes to attack, just know he will be covered |
| Forum Reply | Why is SWP starting over Hoillet and Taarabt? at 03:08 16 Sep 2012
Beg to differ. He was involved in breaking up countless chel attacks and provided the outball all the time.Against one of the best left-backs in world football,he didnt give him a moments peace and won that particular battle. In the 3rd quarter he intercepted 3 times, and gained more yards than any other wide receiver on the pitch |

I'm sure you can all agree that a penalty shout is more noteworthy than a lovely flowing move that results in a throw in, say. So when time is tight, which it always is on MOTD, then obviously something has to give. is it an editor or a pundit that decides on that highlights to show? |
| Forum Reply | MOTD Highlights are a joke at 00:57 16 Sep 2012
Hi Rob.Has there ever been any discussions as to when Lineker and Co might be relieved of their duties?....I do not know a single person that does not think that the presenting, analysis, format is tired and way past its sell-by date. Lets be honest, you have the rights to a superb product, visually, with all the cameras and technology, its fantastic, and because of this, you will always get good viewing figures whoever is presenting the show. Hansen im afraid, offers so little in analysis and insight its embaressing.Do you not think its time for a change,or that its a fantastic opportunity to try something different with different people? |

started a similar thread without knowing this one was up and running...so apologies...went looking for a lighter whilst halfway through writing it.In all seriousness, the program is so tired and the presenters are so lacking in energy, charisma that its become a tired joke. There is so much that could be done with it to make it good... |
| Forum Thread | motd....utter sh*t at 00:22 16 Sep 2012
Here's the format.....the more goals in the game....the more coverage the game gets....then we can show each goal from 10 different angles, with a few super super super slow motions to be safe.If any of the games happen to feature a top4 side, then we can allot even more time. we can then find some nice middle-class men, with some nice regional accents, who have never played football before,to get really excited about meaningless incidents and come out with absolute CNTISH attempts at humour..."Sir Alex wont be getting any christmas cards from Berbatov this year!!"... I sit in row A in ellerslie cos my 9 yr old loves being that close to the action, means when we are attacking loft end,its hard to make out whats happening....so,i very much look forward to highlights to get the "big picture". Fck me....were Ale' and Granero even mentioned?? Fck em all at the beeb |
