Sugawara's left peg.
at 10:48 3 Sep 2024

After watching Sugawara's terrific strike with his left peg against Brentford I just wonder if its an option to play him Left wing back & allowing KWP to revert to his favoured Right wing back position.
Sugawara is obviously more comfortable using his left peg than KWP.
It would give us better balance & hopefully more deliveries into dangerous areas.

The good news is that Ramsdale starts today, the BAD news is so does Stephen's.

Meghoma going to Brentford for 10M
at 12:51 30 Aug 2024

If it's true that Meghoma is going to Brentford for 10M then I think that's great business for us.
I didn't really see him featuring for us any time soon so to get 10M is a bonus.

Another French rookie coming in.

Apparently we're close to signing another French lad (Traore) who will be immediately loaned out to our sister club.

36 hrs left to get a keeper & a striker & a winger.
at 10:38 28 Aug 2024

Ridiculous, we've had 2 months to get the players we need & here we are with just 36 hrs to go & we are desperately trying to bring players in.
I just don't understand why clubs leave it so late, they end up buying overated players at an inflated prices.
We do it every time & end up with the rubbish that other clubs don't want.

McCarthy not totally to blame for mistakes
at 19:17 27 Aug 2024

McCarthy is not the only one who is not good at playing tippy tippy across the back.
His defenders are not much better at it than he is & are partly to blame.
We just don't have the quality to play out from the back successfully.
I think we could get by with McCarthy, he's a decent shot stopper, if we stopped trying to copy Man City by playing the risky stuff at the back & just got back to basics.
RM needs to accept that most of his players have limitations & stop expecting them to play a game that they are not comfortable with.
Successful teams play to their players strengths not their weaknesses.

Bijlow not coming
at 16:53 27 Aug 2024

Apparently our efforts to sign Bijlow have failed.
It looks like our medical team have flagged up an old injury that means he's not fit to sign.
Our search for a keeper goes on.

I think we are overlooking a big problem. Jack Stephens
at 22:07 26 Aug 2024

JACK STEPHEN'S.
All the time RM shoehorns him into the side we're going to continue to struggle.
All this talk about a new keeper & the need for a proper striker we're all overlooking an ongoing problem.
RM's love affair with JS is now embarrassing.

Brazilian striker on radar
at 20:22 26 Aug 2024

Apparently we have submitted a bid for a Brazilian Striker, I personally don't know anything about him apart from he's a 23 year old striker.
It's unlikely that a deal can be completed before deadline.

Playing out from the back, when will clubs learn.
at 13:06 25 Aug 2024

Virtually every Premier & some of the Championship clubs have adopted the policy of playing out from the back.
Using the keeper as an extra defender & expecting him to be good with his feet.
How many games now are affected by calamitous mistakes being made by keepers giving precious goals away.
Even Jordan Pickford who's supposed to be the very best with the ball at his feet cocked up yesterday which cost his team a goal.
Get back to basics & allow keepers to concentrate on keeping the ball out of the
net.
Also defenders should take more responsibility and not keep playing the ball back to the keeper unnecessarily.
As the legendary Brian Clough used to say
" football is a simple game, keep it simple".

I see we are subsidising Goztepe again.
at 12:20 25 Aug 2024

Apparently the deal involving Charlie Alcarez leaving for 15M includes the lad Hugo coming in & going straight to Goztepe.
I just don't understand what's going on now with our transfer dealings, we could have got more ££'s for Charlie if Hugo hadn't
been involved.
Why are we wasting time bringing in players for our so called sister club, what do they do for us ?.
We don't have the finances to subsidise another club, every penny we have should be invested in players to improve our squad.

Same starting line up as Last week.

Understandably RM starts with the same eleven today against Forest.
Still no sign of Ross Stewart or Adam Lallana.
Be interesting to see if any of the new lads get on late in the game.

When are the club going to come clean & tell us exactly what's going RS
at 18:56 17 Aug 2024

It's about time someone at the club come clean & told us exactly what's going on with Ross Stewart.
RM keeps saying that RS is nearly ready, he's been saying that for weeks.
That's obviously a smokescreen & he's not nearly ready.
Is there something in the agreement with Sunderland that we only pay them the full 10M if he plays so many games.
Same with Lallana if he's fit why is he not in the squad.

Stephen's shoehorned in again
at 14:06 17 Aug 2024

It looks like Stephen's will be utilised in that holding midfield role, unless RM intends to play 3 across the back with Sugawara & KWP given licence to push on as wing backs.

Has Stuart Armstrong found a club yet.
at 19:27 15 Aug 2024

Unless I've missed something Stuart Armstrong is still without a Club to play for next season.
Big mistake letting him go at the end of his contract, couldn't we have just given him another years contract.
He did give us a bit of creativity that we haven't replaced yet.

16year old from Norwich
at 17:08 14 Aug 2024

Looks like we're signing a 16 year old wonder kid from Norwich.
That's just what we need, he'll help us survive in the Premier Lge.
He might be useful in 4 years time but that's no good to us now.

Tall Paul back in the squad
at 07:59 11 Aug 2024

That's a surprise, tall Paul getting a few minutes on Saturday.
But perhaps he could offer us something different & he is a proven goalscorer albeit in inferior leagues.
But the sheer fact that he's back in favour proves what we're all thinking is that we have a weaker squad than when we got relegated.
Fasten your seat belts & hold on tight it's going to be a rough ride this season.

This seasons kit judged 2nd worse in Premier Lge
at 10:53 6 Aug 2024

Apparently someone somewhere with nothing better to do has sat down & judged all of the Premier Lge teams kit for 2024 / 2025 season.
Not only are we one of the favourites to get relegated we have now been judged to have the 2nd worst kit in the Lge.
Luckily Wolves are judged to have worse kit than us.
Kit like everything else in football is a matter of opinion, just because the guy or gal that had time to make this judgement doesn't mean that we all have to agree.
Come on our boys & prove some of these judgemental critics wrong.
Regardless of what kit we wear just make sure we get enough points to survive.

Chelsea in for Matt O'Riley
at 13:49 4 Aug 2024

Chelsea are looking to snatch Matt O'Riley from Celtic to replace Connor Gallagher.
What chance have we got of getting him = zilch.
We are going to start the season with a bigger but weaker squad than last season.
We need quality not quantity.
