South East England lawyers, legal fees that would be better off spent on the club, ‘activists’ etc. Funny how you aren’t repeatedly mentioning this now it’s someone other than the trust taking legal action.
Massive hypocrisy. Not a pop about the Tory donor under investigation for dodging £500 million in tax. Zahawi forgot to pay £3 million plus in taxes, but remembered to submit his expense claims for heating his horses.
The sellouts struck a deal with the yanks in December 2015 without informing the trust. The Trust were ‘introduced’ on the day the sale announcement was being released to the press. Too late at that point to ‘cut a deal’ or class as being included at the point of sale.
Levein himself stated his pathway was back to DC United under a new coach. Raised his profile a little this side of the pond, break him in over there and if he does well flog him to fund the likes of Benteke on mega bucks. He had no interested in developing him for the swans.
Fletcher was not registered to play for the first team. Do your homework. Add to that Levein had DC United in mind as a development loan. Why does he fund the likes of Benteke there yet scrapes the barrel this side of the pond.
Williams was a gamble. The owners held on for weeks to get the fans relieved at any appointment ignoring the fact he was from a well backed league 2 side.
A silly OP trying to put some sort of spin on the downfall caused by poor ownership. We’d be looking further down the leagues for cheap gamble signings that fail to pay off.
The Wrexham Trust saved the club, had a good stab at getting promotion on a couple of occasions and left it debt free for new owners.
They didn’t ’sell it for pennies’. How much would you expect to pay for a national league club? The deal was based on a promise of investment which was honoured.
Prior to selling the trust apparently rejected numerous other potential buyers. Credit to them for their due diligence. They could have as you accuse ‘given up’ way before finding suitable buyers.
A performance (and hopefully result) is the least the players can offer in an otherwise disappointing season. Hopefully they’ve had a real kick up the backside after last Sundays no show.
Get Curt, Trunds, Leon in the changing room before kick off to let the players know what the game means.
Williams should have had the defence defending set pieces all week if he’s done his homework. For a manager a result in this can win them the fans for a few months.
