Not putting our foot on the throat seems to have become an ingrained habit. We score and then have a little lie-down until rudely awakened by them scoring. Surely that something we can learn not to do?
And yes, Dembele down the middle is quite different from Dembele down the side. One’s excellent, the other’s outstanding.

So glad you picked up on that. In the euphoria of a home win it seems to have passed most people by.
And, given our squad personnel it's beyond me why we can't sometimes revert to 4 - or even 5 - across the middle & two up-top. Esp at home & esp with Charlie in the team; he's always needed a foil.
Or am I seeing things? |
