£12 million for a player who doesnt suit our style just seems daft

Without proper service he is not going to perform.

The wing play needs to change or the wingers themselves.

I thought Bony was immense today but not as our one up front.

This is the point. We either buy British players who can play the continental style at a premium or we buy natural foreign players.

Little doubt that the British players have more physicality on the whole (I'm generalizing!!) but their cost is well OTT.

If you have watched England, SCotland, NI and Wales trying to play football you will be in no doubt that there are very few British players who can play football.

We've certainly signed some average players and Vasquez is tripe to the point where he'd struggle to gain employment in the league below. People can make his apologies if they wish, but that's how I see it.

Why JDG also

No need to have such gutless dross. Plenty of Brit lads would like the chance and show more guts

Vasquez is not even League 1 standard on the the evidence so far. I do feel everso slightly sorry for him.

I think Everton showed something we lack today, they have more British players that gives them more balance to the team.

We lack something for me in final third.

In your opinion.

I bet you've got this image in your mind about what I'm advocating and you haven't got a clue.

I'm one of the biggest supporters of the passing game/foreign influence.

So what you are saying is that although we are too foreign, we should be more foreign. yeah ok. Stick to overt wum threads.

Umm I'm clearly not saying that but nevermind.

I'm suggesting we lack balance in the team and a real tenacity.

Everton were the swans with a bit of grit an extra bit of quality in the final third.

There's no question our lack of ability to sustain a run of results has to have a reason and I believe it stems from a lack of cohesion and leadership.

I live 1.5 miles from the Proact Stadium (Chesterfield F.C.) and the talk amongst their fans recently, has been the need for a new striker; seriously though, I don't feel sorry for him: he's just not good enough and the Swans have had many of those over the years. It's just one more for the list, sadly.

The usual stuff from the usual suspects then.

I'm leaving those that are inclined to your truly wancky frothing mouthed indignation, but personally I thought we played well against one of the form teams of the premier league...maybe even the form team of the premier league. If they had Suarez they'd be head to head with the Sheiks. A draw would have been pretty fair, but can't argue with them winning as they had a little more in key areas and Barklay.
