Concept Kit Thread 17:09 - Jul 6 with 8572 views | Nerazzurri | Ok, I didn't want to keep spamming the other thread with pictures of made up kits so I thought I would present to you 3 sets of home and away kit in the same way we were given the choice to vote by the club this year. We have 3 home kits, 1 completely striped, 1 with solid sleeves and 1 with slimmer stripes and solid sleeves. The 3 away kits are based on yellow and white which we have worn a lot but with the blue and black of our home kit added to add consistency across our kits and reinforce our unique brand. Option 1 Option 2 Option 3

Concept Kit Thread on 17:15 - Jul 6 with 6385 views | AtThePeake | Both option 2 for me sir. I've never bought a home and away kit in one season but would definitely purchase both of them. Would get any of the home kits. I like the two yellow kits too but wouldn't buy. Lovely, simple designs with the feedback we've been giving the club for years.

But it wasn't the fans fault they were given poor choices! Superb kits Nerazzurri, and all of them follow the simple process that should be used when choosing a shirt. I'm sure the club won't like being told what to do, but you've certainly ensured they should be listening.

None of them really 'look' like a Fila design though, more a quality nike/adidas style, i doubt we would get this high calibre choice with Fila/Cabrini.

Look at Bournemouth's kits. Very similar to N'zzuri's.

Minus the giant F's, maybe it was just how they looked it just looked a higher quality, it would be brilliant if we could get something similar next time, with some leeway from the sponsors to remove the red colour.

Our kits are made by Nike. First years home kit (Keith's debut season) was decent, away was shabby. Bioth as plain as you could imagine. Last season they were both quality. This season, we haven't seen the away yet but the home is basically a red shirt with white shorts and Nike ticks on them. £42.50 Think I'll pass.

Was thinking something similar myself. Don't to speak out of turn but could the trust not do some sort of poll later in the year and hand it to the club with the ideas, just to say this is what we would like. Its just so unfortunate we ended up with 3 'bad' options.
Concept Kit Thread on 10:31 - Jul 7 with 5867 views | R442D | Excellent job! Either 2 or 3 swaying more towards 2. But the small details on all make it hard to choose! What an effort, well done!
Concept Kit Thread on 10:40 - Jul 7 with 5859 views | TomRAFC | all three away kits are quality. The last 2 home kits are both great as well.

Concept Kit Thread on 11:18 - Jul 7 with 5838 views | PaulH84 | I know this may be controversial and there will be inevitable copyright issues but to show our universal discontent for the official kits couldn't we produce an "unofficial" kit with profits produced going to the Dale Trust? This would a) ensure that funds are not kept from the club and b) make the club and kit manufacturer realise the importance of properly consulting the fans and making sound commercial decisions.

If we were the size of City or united you may have a point, but for one it would be a big risk for the trust (I imagine a minimum order would be needed). Worse still, the trust are held in such contempt in some quarters, it could only make relations much less satisfactory!

In the Trust plan of events for next season on the website there's a Consultation Evening planned for September. Would think this would be a perfect time for fans to discuss kits with the club and they should be more than happy to listen if the benefits are for everyone. If there's an acceptance that mistakes were made and for fans to appreciate the limitations that may prevent "perfect" choices of kit (Fila logos for example - they have to be there, no point debating otherwise), then there's no reason why this time next year there are shirts flying off the shelves.
