Or players who do the job they are paid for. Especially when the manager and coaching staff spend all week telling them what could happen and then they let the opposition do what they want. Both Taarabt and Granero have given the same message this week re Reading.

Loathe as I am to discuss new players - we've signed so many in the last five years it's become an addiction for both club and fans - I'd rather we went all out for a centre forward than anything else. We can patch and mend our back four, but we're toothless in attack and that is actually putting huge pressure on the defensive side of our game. We know that if we concede one goal we're unlikely to win the game as we can't score more than one ourselves. That said, it's bloody difficult finding anyone even half good up front these days. Arsenal spent 10million on Giroud (we would have too) and he's hardly set the world alight. I mean, every man and his dog seems to be watching Charlie Austin right now so God knows how much Burnley would want for him. Hopefully our legion of scouts are busily compiling a selection of outstanding young forwards.
