January Transfer Thread 13:27 - Dec 23 with 38155 views | KeithHaynes | Done some asking and Oli McBurnie is most certainly up for a loan back to the UK this window. I’ve been told four Championship clubs are interested. This will all fall on the fee’s involved plus he is on in the region of €36,000 a week. Big numbers but we know how these things can be negotiated. Do we have the money ? Yes. P&S will need to be positive and only the club really know where we are with that at this moment in time, It won’t be massively healthy. Oli has played fourteen games for Las Palmas this season with no return. He has never been a prolific striker, but could he settle into Luke’s team ?

Pity we couldn't have sold him, a bid of £2,50 and half a Haggis would have sealed the deal

Perchy came to Swansea and drove him all the way to Perth.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Contract expires in June. I hope he is a winger not a CF with his stats. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Freeing up wages to complete transfers? Although I can’t imagine St Johnstone will cover his whole contract

He’s on a decent contract by all accounts. I was thinking more about Adama Sidibeh, although we can’t be interested in him again, he’s not scored in fifteen games.

In fairness they are rock bottom of the league, so I wouldn't imagine he's had that many chances, might be worth a punt at a small fee

January Transfer Thread on 10:19 - Jan 7 by onehunglow | If he’s happy and getting what he is now, then why move at all. Family happiness is paramount ,or should be. If he went to Leeds, or Birmingham, his family might not be happy . Swansea area is light years away from both those cities and in a good way . Hell, when he retires ,he could even retrain for another job in life . Sadly, footballers are all about chasing the dough ,no matter what . It’s a matter of pride,it seems . The more they earn ,the better they feel . Rashford is earning shedloads for doing nowt but he is really happy in his soul ? Possibly not |
I think, if it were similar wages, with just a small increase, your point is just. The thing is, if he can get a signing on fee to make him a millionaire, plus double what he’s getting now, I’m sure that will benefit the family’s full portfolio of other businesses, and could make much more difference than it looks on paper, in simple football terms. Harry could still move club and stay in the area. Or even move back to the area later if he loves it so much. As for Rashford…surely that’s different? He wants to leave Man Utd, when he is being asked to stay and play less than he’d like. Surely him staying would justify your claim of him getting paid shedloads for doing nowt 🤷♂️ when what he wants to do is the opposite, and leave so he can be playing more, not to earn more

On loan at Bromley and played only minutes and then from the bench. Came on for 1 minute against Swindon at the end of December and hasn't made the bench in the last 2 games. Personally I think he should be recalled. Incidentally Congreve is not setting the world on fire there either, sometimes starts and subbed and sometimes comes on off the bench. I expected them to do better in League Two, it just shows the step up from u21s to league football.
