With apologies to the mental health of Durham, Joe Taylor is a pipe dream I'm afraid. According to various Terrier forum speculation, the only way they'll get the much-underused naturally gifted striker in January is if Luton Town will part with him for somewhere north of £2m, but the Huddersfield fanbase definitely want him. Luton are 3pts outside the relegation zone, and averaging barely just over a goal a game, so quite why they aren't using him other than cameo appearances off the bench is frankly baffling. He'll go in January somewhere, but it won't be here I'm afraid.

I can promise you that Danny Boy Pyke is not one of my nom de plumes.

Neither am I the artist formerly known as Prince.

However I do reluctantly accept that we have about as much chance of a return of Joe Taylor than Elon Musk of flying to Mars.

What I fail to understand is why Luton Town seem determined to be relegated by Easter and why they will not play JT.

Wessex is right Huddersfield want Taylor and are willing to pay but he should be playing regular championship football not languishing on the bench or worse.

If there’s a chance of Elon Musk of flying to Mars, I’m happy to contribute towards a one way ticket.

I’d pay even more if it was a half way ticket.

Has anyone ever seen any of his Starlink Satellites traversing the sky? I’m guessing the response is something like, “yes of course we have, where have you been for the last 10 years!”

One balmy evening last year, I was sitting outside having a glass or three and about 30 minutes after it had gotten dark, this very strange line of about 50 bright lights moved across the sky. Very spooky! I had to check the bottle to see just how much I had drunk.

If you Google Starlink and look at images, you will see what I mean. The lights were quite low, so I guess they’d been launched only a few days earlier and hadn’t gained much height. Quite interesting when I read about them, but it had the hairs standing up on the back of my neck at the time.

Maybe someone can tag Mr M onto the end of the next launch.

I didn't see them, but Alfie's mum and her friends did on an Isle of Wight jolly, and sent me photos to find out what they were. They thought they were witnessing the start of Armageddon and didn't want to die on the Isle of Wight

I did see something troubling this afternoon though, two very large grey 4-engined passenger jet-sized planes flying in formation far lower than commercial flights should fly over my house, heading west(ish) towards Bath/ Bristol. No obvious livery, so they must have been military?

In the absence of any far distance I figured all was cool and went back to work...

Btw - there are probably many who'd pay double that for an explosion on take off

…and I’ve just learned they were B52s. If I’d know that at the time I think I’d have been even more worried. Out of Fairford apparently, god knows where they were going though?

Wessex - the Americans have recently transferred 4 x B52s to Fairford on a deterrent to Mr Putin mission.

Must have been quite a sight to see over your house.

Those long range beasts first flew in the 1950s.
Amazing.

Hopefully not a step closer to Armageddon especially as Col U are on the up.
