I wonder if we can recall Larceche in January from Dundee ?
My Dundee mate says he is having a very good season.

Another triumph that one. Spend all summer telling Paal he's got to go, then end up starting the season with him as your only left back.

I feel sorry for Saito. He cheers every goal we score in the warm up (we're not going to score in the game are we), checks up on any player of ours who goes down with an injury, wins headers he has no right to, pelted up and down the left last night, and all for his team mates to look and shrug.

Madsen was an embarrassment last night. In the second half, with Smyth on, he'd decided he was going to plant himself about 20 feet from the touchline in front of ER and run up and down that. Smyth had no space and all Madsen did was stop balls from Dunne reaching Smyth. Perish the though he'd try and undercut the marker and give Smyth an out ball when we did get the ball. He seems to want to stay a nice 12 feet from the penalty area and mark that space. Complete aberration of a performance.

Loan him out to Wealdstone. Same goes for a few others. That is more the level they should be playing at. They won't be so "billy big bollocks" then. Might even keep the Stones in the National League.

Does anyone have any info on when Frey or any of the players that are injured might be back?

Or is that info withheld for competitive advantage too?

Anyone ‘back on the grass’ get that in the glossary, next to shite!

Of all those touted for sale in the summer, the one I least minded leaving was Paal as I really like the cut of Larkeche, the desire he showed that night to set up that equaliser told me he was the right sort,

Dundee poster alao highlighted his desire and will to win, a rare commodity at times,

Also mentioned defensively suspect occasionally & given our inability to coach players, it may be he will always be a Wingback rather than a Fullback at this level.

Your not alone Clive - Numerous times over the last few years I have found myself apologising to those sat around me especially my poor kids.

I try not to get so involved in the game but the anger just erupts and by god they have given us plenty to get angry about.

My kids worry about my blood pressure and my health and so do I - This bloody football club should definitely come with a health warning.

I blame my Dad - Why did he have to pick bloody Queens Park Rangers!!

Same here. Definitely one of my worse life decisions.

Left the ground after the third went in.
Should have fecked off when the first went in.
After the exertions of playing against 10 men on Saturday they decided to phone this one in.
An insult to me and everyone else there.
Decent people who stand beside me in the loft end travel from far and Wide like my mate James
Who makes the trip from Bristol for every home game.
Imagine having to drive home that distance after that shitshow .
Utterly shameful.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

I doubt they will all be rushing to get back. Now, if we were top of the league how long would the injury list be then? 🤔

id say im one more game form being booted from the family stand ,
sat is going to be a total car crash .

"sat is going to be a total car crash".

So you're saying we'll play much better than against Boro? Here's hoping

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I thought Varane did ok. He was good against Sunderland and decent against Coventry. He wasn’t great vs Boro but other than Saito, I thought he was the next best outfield player. I don’t know what tactics were but it seemed to be to leave Varane by himself in the middle and for Morgan and Madsen to be somewhere else…..not sure where but they certainly weren’t facing the centre backs and looking to receive the ball. Varane did sometimes (not all granted) shout for the ball but had 2 guys on this back so had to pass back to whence it came. His other job is to sit in front of the back 4, and hold his position. When Boro got the ball, none of the more forward players tried to press as unit and/or put challenge in. I don’t know whether that’s tactics or just can’t be bothered. Either way, that’s not Varane’s job as he’s sat further back. Personally I don’t believe the players just decide not to press and not to challenge (Madsen being an exception). For some reason they are being told to play that way.

I am suprised we are still getting decent home support, thought for the first time on Tuesday night that the fans patience had run out with this lot. Regardless of the reports circulating about Norry and Cifuentes and player recruitment, afraid that Cifuentes now looking a bit of a busted flush. I thought Boro were a superior team to Sunderland and it showed, they sensed our weaknesses and took full advantage. We are being served a load of slop at home and it does not look like improving soon. Seen every game this season and can only point to the 2nd half at Luton as being enjoyable, the rest has been lamentable.

It's comforting to know that headloss was fairly common on Tuesday. I always wake up the following day mortified and hating myself.

I think in critiquing Cifuentes, Varane & Dunne (yet again stepping up & showing desire in leading by example & getting grief from our fans for whatever reason) we are missing a bit of an elephant in the room, namely the lack of an on-field Captain to make those subtle in game adjustments to make a difference,

Cook is a decent Championship Centre Half but for me, he plays for himself and doesn't lead the team or communicate effectively on the pitch, unless he's looking for a scapegoat for his errors,

I get the group-think will jump in with he's the least of our problems, but is he?

Cook wasnt waving his arms when he lost his runner he was unfairly pointing the finger of blame away from himself and squarely at Nardi, then Dunne seems to intervene and he starts pointing at Saito...

This is not what I want from our Captain with an inexperienced Championship Manager and a make-shift team,

I want a Clint Hill type, pulling Dunne tighter to him, pushing Field tighter to Santos to double up on Doak, pointing & yelling at Chair when he's not tracking back and more,

Not just relying on Dunne to bring the ball out and only doing so himself if the opposition are a man down, creating triangles with Varane and stepping up with the ball like Rob Dickie did,

If we are to stay up, we need him to become a leader on the field, and to date, I'm yet to see it in Cook.

Yeah this is one thing we do agree on.

Cook will defend for his life and that’s how he leads but the team needs more than that .
He’s experienced has been found wanting so much this season in demanding standards and helping his less experienced team mates .
Where was he on Tuesday in helping Santos. From the upper loft I saw nothing in the way of encouragement, demanding more, driving them to do better .

I saw a solitary moan at Nardi for the second goal which seemed a bit harsh on him when it was his player who was free to score .
I feel like I’m being harsh because his display at Burnley was incredible . But I feel like his head is down when JCS isn’t by his side .

Will revert to type and disagree to a point about Dunne.
I think he’s now playing as he did when he and Dickie were having there mental collapse a while back . You can never accuse Jimmy of not caring . That gives him a head start over most but the last few games (Burnley aside) he has been dreadful . And Tuesday was one of the worst . He wasn’t alone of course .

The incident with the fans at the end was avoidable . They weren’t having a go at him personally I don’t think . They were just shouting at whoever was there . Unfortunately Jimmy decided to shout “Feck off” back and gesticulating with his arms for them to use the exit .

As I said previously, Jimmy has to suck it up . It was 3 or 4 guys , a couple of those were fairly young teenagers . It could have and should have been a lot worse and will get worse if we down up guff like that much more . Hold your hands up, get off the pitch and prove them wrong . The moment you start telling people who have spent lots and lots and lots of money to see us lose a record breaking amount of times in the last 2 years on our own pitch , to feck off numerous times , you are on very thin ice. Because that bunch will be waiting for the next bad performance by him at home ..just wait more abuse and more number s and then the whole thing is broken.

'Madsen, a 6ft 4in central midfielder, won zero tackles across 95 minutes of football. He won zero tackles, because he attempted zero tackles. 0/0, your central midfielder. He was involved in three ground duels and lost all of them. He was involved in one aerial duel and lost it. Zero successful dribbles from one attempt. Zero accurate crosses from one attempt. At our attacking corners, he stood outside the box. I’m going to mention his height again. At our attacking corners, he stood outside the box. We are through the looking glass here people..'

Is this the same Madsen who's cultured, languid style, and calmness would prevail in QPR's hour of need whilst the luddite fan foamed at the mouth as they screamed for more 'pashun' and 'tackling'?

Can't believe anyone had the temerity to question his ability. God forbid you should actually watch a player and make a judgement based on what you see.

But there lies the rub. Madsen can play football and has good technique.

Unfortunately he has the heart and courage of a terrified mouse. He needs to go back home to his mummy who can read him bedtime stories to calm his nerves.

Does the analytics team assess and evaluate prospective players psychological suitability for the rigours of playing in the Championship?

Clearly not.

Yeh it was Edmondson rolling back on the pitch that tipped me over the edge in the end. And he heard me and laughed.

On the ref . He fell hook, line and and sinker for Boro’s shithousing .
He was as weak as Saturday’s ref was strong .
Why boro were doing it is beyond me.
They could have had as many as they wanted.

Was with you from game 1 Joe, where I believe you were the first to call him out as Dozzell mark 2.

Turns out, unbelievably, he’s even worse. AND cost 3-4m.

When you’ve got a CM that can’t run, can’t tackle, is slow as a snail, and is weak as piss, no amount of “adjustment” to the league will help. File as dead money. He’ll probably go down as one of the worst signings in our transfer history.

His profile is horrible, and there’s no chance he’s a MC player. MC wants a number 10 that plays a high press with high energy (plus your obligatory #10 skills), and he wants an 8 that does similar. Neither of those is Madsen, in any way shape or form. Because he can’t run. Can’t press. And has got zero energy or stamina. So it’s tells anyone what they need to know about who signed these players.

Not disputing any of the points you are making. But how then can we reconcile that with the lung-busting run he made to be on the end of Frey's dispossession and lay off v Luton. That came from a long punt forward and he was playing as a left winger at the time? He looked decent that night - where has that player gone?
