This was coming after Bulgaria shipped 9 and Wales could only manage a 2-2.against the Bulgars.

Thee young fellows exposed to elite footballers at an early age must be good for them.

It is always tough for Wales and Bulgaria as the talent is spread thin compared to Spain.

Good to see healthy Swansea contribution.

This is normally the status quo which makes the Wales u19 beating Italy 4-3 quite some achievement. Margetson and Woodward.

Learn from it and improve.

The real achievement is pulling a Cymru shirt on.

Last years u17 who were the first underage Welsh team to qualify team to qualify for finals are now u19 and they played Italy twice and got great results 3-3 and 3-4 in Italy. Woodward replaced Iwan Morgan who did not feature. Margaretson in goal.

The u21 would have qualified as well but Matt Jones and Craig Bellamy decided to rest their best player for 3 or the last 5 games and they lost all three having been unbeaten. (last one admin problem).
