Colback on 15:40 - Oct 18 by Gruntfuttock | So Dave Mac's remembered we exist. Must be a quiet day over there. |
as the fella has been a QPR fan since the early 80's he probably always knew we existed

Colback on 19:06 - Oct 18 by stainrods_elbow | Sorry - what exactly has EDB done to warrant a place/recall? I must have missed the memo. |
he's not Madsen or Anderson

Colback on 15:34 - Oct 18 by Watford_Ranger | 35 next week. It’s grim if we’re pinning hopes on him. |
I didn’t know that, or should have paid more attention, but that does sound a bit grim going forward in the short term.
| Did I ever mention that I was in Minder? |

Colback on 19:03 - Oct 18 by LazyFan | Colback wont and QPR wont renew his contract with stats like that. He will probably retire just like Wallace did. I was impressed with Varane before he got sent off, he was playing slightly better each game and improving until he over did it. Hopefully he's learned and that wont happen again. I worry it's Madsen again; he won't work in that position. I think it's time for EDB to play with Field told to stay back and shout at EDB if he's not getting back. |
I'm sure I've read that Colback has got an option for a 3rd year

Colback on 17:34 - Oct 18 by Mick_S | Oh no. Please. It couldn’t happen, could it? |
Yep. From 30 yards, at the Loftus Road end.
Colback on 08:28 - Oct 19 with 840 views | hubble | If Colback went to play in the Russian Premier League, and we then somehow earned a place in a European competition, and drew Spartak Moscow, we could sing Colback in the USSR.

Colback on 10:00 - Oct 19 with 738 views | gazza1 | Colback is a 'big player' for us even if he is 35 years old, it doesn't matter if he is preforming well & has good movement (& he does work & perform well). In saying that I am not sure we should be thinking about, and I am not sure that the club is, offering a new contract whether that is in a few months time or 12 months time.

Exactly this. Madsen and Andersen have more skill than EDB, but cannot get up and down the pitch in time. EDB may be able to do that, but we know Madsen and Andersen together make the team too slow on breakaways. Playing both of those together slows the team down. Slow teams get picked off in the Champ. You ned to break fast and hard to force teams defences back, which then creates space in the middle to attack from. Thats what other teams are doing to us, which is why when we lose the ball, it looks like the oppo has all the players in our half as we never really broke upfield against them. Someone needs to carry that ball into their half, down the middle time and again. Dembele can do it sometimes, but if marked we need another person to do that and quickly so, the oppo cannot regroup in time and park the bus.

We are at loftus road, I'm not sure he actually knows where the goal is here. [Post edited 19 Oct 15:35]

EDB must be crap if he can’t displace these two gutless clowns
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles
