The snake going to sunderland on 19:15 - Dec 15 by Wilkinswatercarrier | Got a nasty feeling he might do very well. He's walking into a good team, with some good individuals. Be interesting to see what happens in the January window though, bid for Willock or Chair maybe? Still a knut as well. |
Amazing he’s hoodwinked another club. Got lucky here, following Warburton’s three years’ work, destroyed it, moved to a massive club that had reached a European final, fvcked it up, now he’s going in to leach off Mowbray’s work. He’s a parasite. With his luck he’ll fluke a promotion before he gets found out again.

Likely to go for Willock. His brother is at Newcastle and apparently their dad is dominant presence for both of their careers. They could all live together in the shadows of their father !!!

I’d be amazed if Willock went anywhere in January and walked away from a bumper sign on fee next summer. I’d be doubly amazed if he wanted to go anywhere near Beale after the way he rushed him back, overplayed him and cost him 6 months of hamstring issues.

That's my sense. I'd be surprised if Willock wanted anything to do with Beale ever again. But if the money's good, who knows...?

The snake going to sunderland on 02:14 - Dec 16 with 3912 views | queensparker | Wow just spent far too long reading the Sunderland forum as befits an old man with not much better things to do, but they’re pretty much 100% unanimous in not wanting the south London wide boy anywhere near their club. Really cheers me up that acting like a c—t still has consequences. Between how he behaved in leaving us and his arrogant fk up at Rangers his reputation is at an all time low. The snake going to sunderland on 02:39 - Dec 16 with 3899 views | SydneyRs | The Rangers fans hailed him as the tactical genius behind Gerrard winning the league when he first arrived. That soon began to unravel. Thing is he wasn't actually that bad there. Celtic were simply a better team with a very good manager. Outside of not winning any games that mattered v Celtic (there was one late season dead rubber win after Celtic had already won the league), they didn't drop many points last season. A couple of bad defeats early this season did for him though. His signings however. He spent the little funds Rangers had on players that are not pulling up any trees in what to be fair is largely a bloody poor league. Their finances remain shaky so they really can't afford to be doing this sort of thing unless they get into the champions league regularly. Sunderland could make or break him. He won't have the luxury of being able to beat 90% of the league in his sleep like he did at Rangers. He's really going to have to prove himself in a genuinely tough division. Expectations will be high and expect a bit of a honeymoon period as he walks in in full used car salesman mode, Sunderland scarf around his neck with the "what a club!" schtick he used at Rangers. Then we'll find out what he's made of. Fail here and its a long way back.

"The Rangers fans hailed him as the tactical genius behind Gerrard winning the league when he first arrived." It's interesting how this grew up. In hindsight, wasn't it pushed by Beale as much as anybody? He's a fcking shameless self promoter. Nobody knew who Mick Beale was at all. He ends up at Rangers, as one of several in Gerrard's backroom staff - I mean, Gary McAllister was there, vastly experienced, terrific player, I don't remember him getting much credit or jobs off the back of it. Suddenly he's doing blogs, books, going on every podcast going.

The snake going to sunderland on 17:49 - Dec 15 by Rokerite | You mean he isn't a fantastic young coach who after great success at QPR and Rangers has now deigned to come to Wearside and be equally brilliant here? What have we done to deserve him? He clearly has the same self-belief and dazzling power-point presentation that has enabled Lee Johnson to bluff his way into six jobs without achieving a thing. |
Brilliant - they say comparison is the thief of joy, but Lee Johnson and Thick Beale are very similar...

Modern PR is very powerful. I remember when Arteta first left Man City to go to Arsenal he was hailed as having a key role in the tactics and play at Man City, When Arsenal struggled at first he became the guy who put the cones out at Man City. It seems like we have to decide if someone is good before they actually have proved themselves, rather than let them develop and deliver. Although if you are likely to be sacked every nine months then i can see why you would spend time promoting yourself.
The snake going to sunderland on 11:37 - Dec 16 with 3279 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Saw that G Rangers played in the week in Europe and did well beating Real Betis away. A lot of Beales signings played, and played well, suggesting it was the manager rather than the players who was the problem. Can't believe he is going to Sunderland.

The snake going to sunderland on 18:39 - Dec 15 by lassel | Having seen nothing of Sunderland this year and thus relying fully on Wikipedia, the biggest concern would obviously be that their goals this season are identical to us, couple of 3s and 2s but then Jack Clarke on 9.. The laws of physics and football denote that Jack Clarke is not going to score another 9 goals this season so Beale is going to have to find a way to summon up goals elsewhere in the team. I suspect it’s going to be neither great nor terrible and within 12 months he will have powerpointed his way into another role. |
One of is confused or ill informed because I can't see any similarity between Sunderland's goals and ours. And why wouldn't Jack Clarke get more goals? He's on 10 now...

Interesting post here Wilkinswatercarrier because GR are flying it right now and closing the gap rapidly on Celtic also. QPR sunk into despair after Beale left but was that the players or the managers who was steering that ship into the iceberg . Aston Villa dumped Gerrard (Beale was the genius there too apparantly ) and now look at them knocking off City and Arsenal in back to back weeks and pushing the top 4 Sunderland are young and hungry so no revolt happening there I fear he will do really well and if he gets them up the media will tongue his balls forever
