Effiminate garbage. And today's Australia being a part of it now, doesn't surprise me in the least. I'll never forget the sight of all those supposedly macho Aussie men hitching up their skirts and shrieking, whenever somebody sneezed in the next state during the Covid scamdemic. Macho men, me arse!

No desire to listen to any of the sounds that they emit but I’ll be watching the votes intensely for Johnny Logan to tear the skirts of Bucks Fizz and Abba to lick Brotherhood of Mann in the Netherlands.

My two girls love it (probably my doing) and one of the few times a year we might sit down and watch TV together. My missus doesn't get it, but begrudgingly joins in with the sweepstake and scoring competition. 20yrs ago it was on its last legs and but it's now bigger than ever. Embrace the campness and enjoy Hannah Waddington in all her glory, she's worth tuning in for ðŸ˜

Not bothered about it. But a lot of people like it and it could be fun if you have a positive attitude.
Not unlike the coronation.

It was exciting watching the TV broadcast in grainy black and white Eurovision, all the way from over the Channel, and enjoyed listening to Katie Boiler introducing Pearl Carr et Teddy Johnson perform, 'sing little birdie'
Nowadays, I only watch the scoring if I happen to be around.
There was a recent film with Will Ferrell based on the Icelandic entry to the competition, Fire and Blood?absolutely daft but I found it a hoot!
My Dad told me Teddy Johnson and his Brother Bryan who was UK's entrant the following year were both from Hanwell where their parents owned a Butchers Shop
