I hold the record - Boro Match Thread 09:30 - Feb 17 with 38544 viewsSuperhoops2808

So I hold the current record. The last time I started a match thread, we won against Preston in what feels like last year... Oh wait, it was - The 17th December and the last time we recorded a victory

So, exactly 2 months later, I have decided to start a match thread in the hope that this will turn the fortunes around.

I am going to go for another 0-1 away win. And why the optimism? Well a) eventually we have to win and b) Boro may feel like we are ripe for the taking (which we are) and be more relaxed about the whole match

Wishful thinking, but anyway - Lets see

Tim’s very frustrating as he has the ability to be so much more effective

Dozzle is just shite

Dozzell hasn't done anything wrong so far

Where's Tim's been woeful again

Not sure why but Dickie and Dunne switching positions has made a positive difference.

Chris Martin is a right horrible bastard, lucky not to be booked there.

Martin showing a bit of shithousery, blocking Steffen from taking a quick release. Ref gave him a talking to.

Tim’s given the ball away several times. Not sure dozzels touched it more than twice? Debatable which is worse, neither good

Well, people said we needed someone nasty and lo and behold, we brought one in!

Iroegbunam has given the ball away with 7 misplaced passes by my count now. And he’s been tackled softly and dispossessed. He’s playing poorly.

Boro have been poor and we’ve had several opportunities to create a clear cut chance and hashed it up a bit.

His only redeeming feature at the moment is that he is fit.

Dozzell's snapped into at least three good tackles I can think of. And, though Tim's made several mistakes, he's also broken up several plays, including a direct through ball in our area that would have been very dangerous.

Another corner, finishing strongly.

An okay half.

Just not much threat on their goal so far.

Pleasantly surprised by our performance in that half. A little bit more self belief and we could snatch something here.

A bit of bite from Rangers. Decent 45 for us. Can we repeat for next half.
