EFL Outcome 06:39 - Sep 5 with 11108 views | UpTheDaleNotForSale | From a few snippets in interviews etc, we believe the EFL are ready to show their hand as early as this week about our situation. Its ridiculous that it has taken so long, and feels convenient for them that the hard work in stopping the hostile takeover was completed by the board before this point, but we are where we are. Looking at their previous investigations, hearings and outcomes, they don't seem afraid to put all of their findings and evidence into the public domain... so it shouldn't be long before we know exactly HOW this happened, WHO is responsible, WHAT they were likely to get out of it, and hopefully WHY Morton House, Andy Curran, Matt Southall et all were so desperate to get their sordid deal for RAFC over the line. Good Luck to Simon, the Board, the Trust and everybody else associated with finding and collating the evidence to hopefully bury the people behind the failed hostile takeover. #UpTheDaleNotForSale [Post edited 5 Sep 2022 6:44]

EFL Outcome on 15:42 - Sep 9 with 2422 views | DaleiLama | It would be awesome if a competing governing body, which actually cared about it's member clubs, which had teeth and could use it's powers to act to protect members and could negotiate a better tv deal on behalf of it's members, could come in and lure all the clubs away from the EFL. They'd be like pigs in sh1t. They wouldn't have a single decision to ever make again.

I can't help but think there is an inevitability in the setting up of an alternative governing body for L1, L2 and maybe the top division of the National League. The dominance of the Championship and the subservience of the EFL to it will eventually force a breakaway. The grossly unfair monetary shares will ultimately doom many clubs and the whole competition will become a parade of the richest first. Everything the EFL does is with eyes on what the Championship and TV companies want. TV monies dominate the game and its regulators and its time the smaller clubs took matters into their own hands. Let the Championshp clubs become PL2 if thats what they really want. Lower leagues have different, urgent, priorities that are not being addressed and need to be.

James, that statistic simply underlines the unfairness of the pyramid as it is currently structured. A huge proportion of TV money is going to the biggest clubs to the extent that they do not need paying customers whilst the likes of Bury and Macclesfield were hung out to dry, as would we have been had we not fought back so hard. Apparently moves are affot to change things... its worth downloading the full research. https://www2.deloitte.com/uk/en/pages/sports-business-group/articles/annual-revi
EFL Outcome on 10:28 - Sep 10 with 1641 views | NorthernDale | Is it about time that the all the governing bodies representing Football in England be combined into just one body, with more transparency then is the case now. May I ask is there any rumours coming out of the club, of what they have decided, because I presume the club will be advised before any public announcement is made of the EFL decision.
