Not quite sure why the response to this thread is so lukewarm .
Instead of the usual " i think this ... i think that " here is an opportunity to say Yes i will be there supporting the team and yet the silence is deafening .

I'd love to go but I've got a long term arrangement that evening that I wouldn't make it back from. Think it'll be a good match as Coventry play decent football, so should be an open game.

Jealous of everyone going!

I'm refereeing so won't even be able to follow it on here, should get back home just before FT

Sending people to Coventry was never the most popular of topics.

You're correct and we've discussed this previously.

Match threads and post mortems generally longer with more posts when we lose rather than win.

Odd, but there it is.

Sure am going to Coventry from someone who done loads of away days back in the 80’s and 90’s but then due to work, marriage, kids etc mainly only went to home games I have now got a second wind which is down to my 13 year old Daughter who is QPR mad.

Do you know what I’m loving every minute of it Reading, Peterborough, Bristol City, Birmingham and now Coventry………It all feels very special again.

Stick something about immigration, or Covid booster jabs giving you better 5G coverage than 02, in the headline and you'll be hearing from posters you haven't seen for months

9 driving up. Any advice on parking + pubs welcome.

Train is still an option but return times not great for the cheap tickets.

I've booked a 'park on my drive' thing for £6, 5 min walk from the ground apparently.

You'll be pleased to know that me, the Albatross, is staying away from this one.

Last time I went to an away game at Coventry was the winning Ewan Jess goal that was offside, which was equalised by a Kevin Gallen goal that wasn't.

I thought we had got a life saving draw, until I got back on the train home after a few beers to celebrate with a Coventy Pink Late Night final that I realised the goal had been ruled offside on the halfway line, so it wasn't a kick off at all but a free kick.

Bollox, I am definelty staying away form Coventry this time.

Just bring me back a win.
