Right, new year, new Raducanu thread for the believers and non believers out there.

She kicks off the season in Sydney later today against Elena Rybakina looking for a win and some nice form going into the Aussie Open. It’s a fairly comfortable Rybakina win for me.

Straight sets if I was pushed. Although always difficult to predict after the Xmas break.

Hyeun Chung had some of the worst blisters I saw in the Aussie Open vs Federer. The blister was so deep a doctor needed to attend on court.

My long shot pick of the tournament Clara Tauson vs Danielle Collins.

Tauson who I spoke about last year when stating what youngsters are better players at the moment than Raducanu will be a household name soon (around tennis people that is) of that I have no doubt.

Very similar to Caroline Wozniacki, has clearly modelled her game on her. For the trolls among us, that’s not a declaration I think she is going to/or will win. *
