My absolute favorite programme as a kid......

White Horses was the first 45rpm record I ever bought. An elder sister loved this programme and it was for her birthday present.

Bought it from a record shop in Wembley High Road

captains fantastic

Absolutely loved Flashing Blade.
The Saturday morning kids show On the Waterfront used to do a dubbed version of it.
Check it out underneath, comedy gold.

At me Nans (traditional family childcare)….
Fried Richmond sausages cut in half, sliced white Mothers Pride sandwich with red sauce on an imitation bone china plate….
Massive cathode TV and this in every lunchtime….

I’m in tears.

Then later a drop of this with my 3pm cuppa and a wagon wheel if I was lucky

Miss you Nanny G (and big bad Grandad) x

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Wacky Races and Robinson Crusoe, big thumbs up from me. I always find the Crusoe theme tune strangely moving.

I don’t remember this. Is that kid’s head supposed to be that big? Creepy.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

I HATED The Magic Roundabout. The music at the end and credits were the cue for me to have to go to bed and I always hated it for that.

The most educational children's programme was Play School.
