Boro Match Thread 10:40 - Aug 18 with 47730 views | PinnerPaul | Busy day for me today (for a retiree!), hopefully back in time to watch the game on QPR+. Afraid I can't see another 3-0, so I've gone for 1-1, Chair to open his account for the season.

Boro Match Thread on 16:33 - Aug 18 by Mick_S | Sitting back could be decent for us - far better than a high press. Maybe. |
Could be? I feel we're better when we have space to run in behind and the opposition are stretched. It gives us the opportunity to pass around and play in the space created from oppositions running after the ball. If Boro sit back it could turn into a game of attrition, plus they've probably seen our set-pieces from Saturday. Hopefully we have a few more tricks up our sleeves! I think we need to play a 3-1-3-1-2 and we should fine.
Boro Match Thread on 17:36 - Aug 18 with 3258 views | LazyFan | Lots of websites repeating a predicted (so not assured) starting XI from us of Austin in for Willock. I would be surprised about that. Especially as Willock scored the first against Dull. I am hoping it is Austin for Dykes and Dykes can come back in fresh and strong against Barnsley at the weekend.

Boro Match Thread on 17:49 - Aug 18 with 3200 views | saxbend | That or Dykes to start but Austin to replace him from the bench a short way into the second half tonight.
Boro Match Thread on 18:02 - Aug 18 with 3163 views | dmm | I expect to see an unchanged side from Saturday. Why tinker with success etc. Perhaps Austin to displace Thomas on the bench.
Boro Match Thread on 18:03 - Aug 18 with 3157 views | CroydonCaptJack | I would take a goalless draw tonight.
Boro Match Thread on 18:07 - Aug 18 with 3141 views | qpr_1968 | play football against them we'll win 2-0. let them kick us off the park....lose 2-0.

Boro Match Thread on 18:09 - Aug 18 with 3127 views | Antti_Heinola | If Austin is fit, I'd expect him to be on the bench. Dunne could come in for de Wijs. Otherwise, think it'll be same team.

Fancy us to open them up and win 3-1, Willock, Charles and DeWijs to score My first/anytime scorer bet has now changed from Dickie to Jordy or Jimmy as Dickie has gone from 33/1 to 25/1 to now 14/1 for first scorer!!!, not complaining as heβs more than paid for my bets for the season but the price collapse is ridiculous!!! Would take a point off you right now though Cmon my team!!!

Boro Match Thread on 18:52 - Aug 18 with 2794 views | strikerace | So as said above, likely Austin comes in at about 60 minutes. Then we go back to both up top on Saturday, or switch and have Dykes come in at 60 minutes. Need to rest and rotate.
Boro Match Thread on 19:03 - Aug 18 with 2640 views | aston_hoop | Lumley and Hall starting for Boro. Just started the stream so its running when the game starts and came straight on to a big UUUURRSSS as out players came out to warm up. Credit to anyone who has made it up there midweek

Boro Match Thread on 19:11 - Aug 18 with 2513 views | saxbend | Do you think if we get a penalty tonight Odubajo should take it? Lumley knows everyone else too well.
Boro Match Thread on 19:23 - Aug 18 with 2398 views | derbyhoop | Has Lumley ever saved a penalty? In senior, professional football?

Busy few days down in the Rebel County U20s game tonight and then the big one in the Senior Hurling Final against Limerick on Sunday afternoon - by which time I hoped QPR will have amassed another 6 points!!!
