Tonight's Fans Forum....... 20:11 - Jun 25 with 4616 views | smegma | My god there were some stoooooopid questions, trying to work out which was the dumbest ... 'Why were xxxx (6 players were named) not on the bench on Saturday? .. Answer:They were injured, if they were fit they would have been subs. Why was Grant Hall not forced to play the last two games before he left?? Why can't we put a roof on the paddocks??? I think we should have a vote.

I glanced on Facebook and it said QPRFC is live, so I clicked on the link. I think it's available on repeat.

With the lawyers, very, very close to an announcement. One point though, we are buying the freehold of "the site". So much more attractive than a lease.
Tonight's Fans Forum....... on 23:32 - Jun 25 with 3951 views | daveB | Here you go with a summary Water pressure in Ellerslie road can't be changed unless whole new system brought in which affects local area and costs a fortune COVID 19 - Club reliant on owners putting money in, if they didn't write a massive cheque every month we would be in administration within a day No idea when crowds will be back, all depends on government advise Season ticket refunds being processed at the moment, should get your money back soon. 65% of ST holders waived the refund Under 23 squad and staff been furloughed so only Gubbins, Owens and Betache available, rest have not come back yet LF said don't want to sell Eze and won't sell him on the cheap but they are expecting offers. Asked why Hall didn't play 2 games before his contract ran out, Warburton said couldn't agree a deal and they parted ways. Hoos said can't force him to play so when he had eye on exit would he have been in right frame of mind to play so decided to not play him. LF said with Hall going will be looking to sign a centre half but don't want to halt progress of Masterson and Gubbins. Bright and Manning - trying to get them to sign new deals but no progress yet, looking at other options in those positions but hopeful they will stay. LF praised Lumley said he had a difficult season but still a good keeper, mentioned that Eze struggled at times last year but came back strong this year so don't write him off On Strikers - LF said not that many good forwards about in our price range so have used loan market in recent years Spoke about number of academy players playing in first team has gone up every year. 16-17 had 46 appearances from academy, 53 in 17-18 and thats over 140 in 18-19 and more again this year so they are happy with that progress. Warburton said young players have to earn place in the team and fans have to realise there will be good and bad days with young players. Warbuton angry over a question about demotivating young players who were not on the bench weekend. He said Kakay was injured others were furloughed so couldn't play. If they were available they would have been on the bench. A lot of the players who were out on loan can't play for us this season which rules out Dalling. Also said it was not true that under 23 players were not given a training programme even though they were furloughed, they have all been training at home. New Stadium - consultation still ongoing but a long way from happening, due to COVID moving even slower than normal. Next steps are council looking at business case of how football/sport stadium would work New training Ground - Warren Farm not happening but supporting the council to keep it a sports facility. Have entered a purchase agreement with another company and option to have the freehold on site was key. they have a non disclosure agreement so can't say anything but it is very close and with the lawyers

Tonight's Fans Forum....... on 17:41 - Jun 27 with 3210 views | PlanetHonneywood | I’m not sure I’m on the same page as MW on blooding players. This notion of them not being ready is all well and good; but the situation as it stands is perfect I’d suggest: we are not going down; the league games appear to be somewhere between a pre-season friendly and a league cup game; and there’s no crowds to get on their back! Frankly, if they can’t relish the chance this gives them to get experience or see it for what it is, then what will they be like if they have to play when there’s likely to be more pressure. And frankly, if they buckle now, they’ll probably buckle when it matters. In six, 12 or 18 months time, we could be under pressure due to a relegation or a promotion battle, and you don’t want to drop them in then. If now isn’t the best time, then when is? 20 years or so ago, Clive Woodward put out a massively inexperienced side that got walloped 76-0 in by the Aussies. Some of those players never wore the shirt again, but one did and a few years later, he stuck it through the posts to win the World Cup. I’d play as many now as I could and tell them to just enjoy the chance and to play without fear. We might find a gem, we might not waste time with a player who hasn’t got it. Tonight's Fans Forum....... on 18:15 - Jun 27 with 3152 views | TGRRRSSS | That was the tour of hell. Lost 7 from 7. Was about 4 or 5 who went on to win the world cup though. I doubt Woodward would have got away with that today, and it could easily have gone the other way, however it's no exucuse for Warburton saying what he is about blooding players, however if they're on furlough atm...

I think if all or most of: Mark Warburton, Chris Ramsey, John Eustace, Neil Banfield, Mark Gardiner, Gavin Ward and Les Ferdinand think they are not ready, then I am happy to trust their judgement. You might be proved wrong on an odd occasion as someone does better than expected e.g. Masterson (so far) but you can set players back or even ruin their careers if they sink. The damage to their confidence can be immense. As an extra supporting reason for QPR not taking this gamble is that, for reasons we have discussed before, we end up with a lot of physically smaller players. Put them in too early and they have a real hard time coping with experienced pros, who will quickly work out their weaknesses and target and exploit them. We have had a number of young players in the past who have made a few appearances, possibly looked good for a game or two and then disappeared down the football pyramid. Danny Murphy, Antonio German etc.
