The only area that is the same financially is the Academy and even they have far less high wage earners, they either play for the 1st team or have left.
They ahave been left with the dregs of the U23s and now use under 18s instead.
For Cooper to turn around and say he is not likely to do anything is an absolute disgrace.
He had the chance of bringing more loans and turned them down.

I agree we have needed good midfield players ....HJ thought he bought one in CLueless, we sold another to Burnley and he is doing the biz week in week out in the PL but all the experts here said he was crap......we tried to buy Ryan Woods....look how he has turned out
Maybe Cooper has his hands tied....it has been said more players have to leave beofre others come in....its not just about transfer fees it paying the wages which the loan club is expected to do by the club loaning the player!!! I expect the constraints like this contributed to Potter jumping at his forst opportunity.
I have said for two seasons we have had no midfield at Fer was our last hope but he was mostly out injured!!! | |

What effect ahs the lack of contract discussions with the majority of the squad have on htem playing?
Would I as a player with an uncertain future want to go into a challenge which could result in an injury resulting in a long lay off....makes me less attractive to prospective new teams...flip side playing out of my skin gets me noticed which nobody seems to be doing either!!! |

Aye, file under Bradley B and McLaren S. Both utter frauds. I really hope we don’t have another that presented his bullshit ‘vision’ without having the capability to deliver it.
We’ll soon see. If they think he’s a fraud out to take all the credit and non of the blame it’ll unravel quicker than the scarf my sister knitted for me in 1971.
Players, teams and supporters are very fickle though. A couple of wins this week and it’ll be a happy camp again with cheered fist pumping galore. Let’s hope we get them. God knows we need a tonic. |  |
