Us & Stoke 08:07 - Aug 22 with 7251 views | Magic_Michu | Doesn’t it feel so good to be achieving with a team full of our U-23 players on a shoestring budget... whilst big spending Stoke (who thought they’d walk this league) languish at the bottom of the league with a team full of mercenaries.

Us & Stoke on 12:14 - Aug 22 by Tummer_from_Texas | Yeah and practically every pundit had Stoke winning the division last season. Seems the Championship isn't an easy level to predict. |
It’s not. It can soon turn into a quagmire even for the bigger clubs. In saying that - the so called bigger clubs that find themselves stuck in the championship or division one, are the ones who have had/got financial problems. So the lessons are that it’s very important to balance the books and by doing so - could give you a great chance of getting back into the premier league.

If we get back into the Premier League next season ðŸ™ðŸ», not being able to get rid of two players the club has been desperate to get off the books since relegation, will very likely play a big part in it. Yes, it’s important to balance the books, but that doesn’t give a club of our size a great chance of getting back to the Premier League. It secures our future, which is infinitely more important of course. In terms of promotion though, the clubs with the best players generally end up near the top of the table.
