Odds of postponing? 17:00 - Mar 1 with 20710 views | Kinsey | My mate who works for sky sports was due down from Scotland to work on the Scarlets game on Saturday, but he’s just told me it’s called off. What are the odds of our game going ahead? [Post edited 1 Mar 2018 17:02]

They don’t have wings. Brighton might have done it. Well it makes as much sense as some of the other guff. Surprised that old Byron hasn’t surfaced to tell us that if we were as big as them we’d teleport the cockerneys down from Essex by lasersmeg.

I was wondering if there were some sort of Premier league rule that would prevent West Ham taking a short flight to Cardiff at 8am to be in Swansea by 10am, which would give them plenty of time to have a light training session, a rest and lunch before the game? Are players that pampered these days that they don't have to travel less than two hours on the day of a match?

Odds of postponing? on 17:00 - Mar 2 by Darran | It happened last season at the Etihad for a CL game. |
That's different though, Daz. It messes up the gameweeks, and also they've already flown everyone over for those sort of games. Anyway, West Ham's team coach had to drive down to pick them up from Cardiff Airport regardless. All this means is that the team have to travel on the coach, and some of the backroom staff have to go by car a bit earlier than expected...
Odds of postponing? on 19:40 - Mar 2 with 2696 views | Glyn1 | Anyone travelling from London by train (including me) already face a 1 hour bus replacement service from Bridgend there and back. I'll be gutted if I get off at Swansea after 1 hour on a coach with West Ham fans singing I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles and find that it's been cancelled.

Odds of postponing? on 20:41 - Mar 2 with 2502 views | Pegojack | Herefordjacks planning to set off 9.00am (with spade in boot) if roads look passable. Been looking at various webcams, looks like M4 is till treacherous around Newport, seems only one lane clear, but snow fizzles out around Port Talbot. Not going to risk HOV. Rail replacement bus service outside Bridgend train station is normally a shambles so be prepared to elbow a few people when they try and push in the queue
Odds of postponing? on 21:57 - Mar 2 with 2283 views | Oldjack | An update from Swansea City... The Liberty Stadium playing surface is fine, concourses and access points are all okay too, as are all the main roads around the ground. Providing there is no further adverse weather, the game will go ahead. There are no plans for a pitch inspection, although the club and match officials will take a look tomorrow morning. It is also understood West Ham have travelled early this morning to give themselves more time to get to South Wales. The Liberty Stadium has undersoil heating so all the signs are that the game will be given the green light tomorrow.

Odds of postponing? on 21:01 - Mar 2 by Dewi1jack | Mrs is working in the hospital tonight. Says it's busy as f**k with the orthopedic surgeons flat out pining bones. Even had to turn the recovery area into a ward. Looking at the 49 down to Monmouth and going that way to the ground I know I've admitted to being stupid and stubborn but f**k even thinking about going over the Beacons Leominster is still snowing very heavily at the mo A49 has had very little traffic on it today. only about a half- 3/4 lane width in places No trains But the crossing alarms are going off constantly- would hate to live alongside them tonight! Will check in the AM that the game is on Be safe everyone travelling tomorrow |
Looks like we got ourselves a....convoy! (Ten four)

When did they put undersoil heating in. I remember a,game being called off a,few years back because of a,frozen pitch. When we were in the championship I think.

Odds of postponing? on 23:03 - Mar 2 with 2120 views | JimmyGilligan | The area around the ground has been clear all week, the ground (you walk on) is no different than it would be in July. Only problem is the wind, it's no joke. As long as West Ham have got to Swansea there is no reason for the game to be off.

TA, and I'll take your advice. I'm hard, me. The big problem will be sitting in the hour-long journey on the way back after we've smashed them. (I hope. I'd be happy with 0-0 at the moment.)
