Another CM not really delivered at Bayern. Not the CAM we need.
I'm also surprised PC not brought in more from Spain / Germany. Badstuder springs to mind on a free to Stuttgart despite him being keen on PL, by as 'linked' clubs - us - didn't make any approach.
I think helping the Tammy transfer is great but question is why pay huge U.K. premium versus high quality relative bargains in Germany and Spain. |  | | |

He's still relatively inexperienced, but was a beast at Euro 2016 (young player of the tournament) and in the Champions League for Benfica. Bayern signed him ahead of most of Europe's big clubs, but he's struggled to adapt to German football, not helped by Ancelotti not being a big fan of using young players.
He'd be easily our most talented midfielder if he came here and anyone suggesting we wouldn't want/need him is mad. I would imagine both him and Bayern would be looking at him playing at a bigger club, probably one playing in European competition, if he is available for loan. |  |

Clement probably would love to sign some players of his choosing there is only one brake to that !
