Article in which he comes out of it sounding like complete plum is from a red top so maybe a pinch of salt needed but then his wifes tweets and Facebook posts are real enough.
The villain in this would appear to Mr Austin, rather than the young lady who appears to have chased down. Don't know anything about her (don't really care). Very sad that the situation appears to have damaged relationships, but its fine that a social media account has been used to sell a perception of someone and sell newspapers - which is what its all about after all isn't it?
