Not sure what to think here. Henry digging Holloway in public seems another example of airing the clubs dirty laundry in public, ala Barton, but I can't see why he would make it up. It is in Holloway's interests to move him on, so would make sense for him to come out and sing his praises, regardless of what has gone on behind the scenes. Holloway has seemed somewhat polarising, to good effect to be fair, but still doesn't sit too well if he has come in and just slagged off ex-managers. |  | | |

I've actually been more supportive of KH than most, thought he got terrible stick for someone who always put a shift in, despite his limitations.

The person getting the most stick in all this is whoever the tvvat was who allowed a clause in Karl Henry Ramsey's contract saying he was entitled to an extra year last summer "if he fancied it"
It made me feel like a dockside whore wandering the stinking medieval streets of Whitechapel waiting the inevitable shafting coming my way when he realised nobody else is stupid enough to award him 12 months paid handsomely for playing professional Association Football. To think the fella had the cheek to have a punt around.
I dont know who that person is or was but they need to be taken out and given a damn good whipping to within an inch of their life.

that was the summer before, lblock, i think.
last summer we could have got rid, but JFH elected to keep him, as a back-up more than anything, but with injuries and false starts for Borysiuk and Cousins, it rarely worked out that way. |  |

I'm swimming against the tide here but I think Karl has been harshly treated over the last few weeks, both by the fans and by Holloway.
He's a limited player, and even those powers are waining, but he's not one of these who are always injured. He's always fit and available to play. To be told you won't ever be picked again is a bit harsh. To also say publicly that he shouldn't have been given the contract is unnecessarily adding insult to injury, no matter if we all agree. If you read past the 'model pro' lines, to imply that he might retire and probably can't be arsed to play any more is hardly inspiring to potential new employers. Given all Ollie's saying about him, why shouldn't Henry put his point of view across? I have no problem with that. |  | | |
