Playing a team fourth from bottom (were we got our fair share of luck) is slightly different from playing a team sitting in 3rd with the best goals for in the league.

Of course there's a difference in class.
Nobody pretends that the team who won 3-1 at White Hart Lane in the League Cup were actually a better class side than Spurs.
It was all about having a game plan and having the confidence to have a go.

The worst goals we have conceded recently was Andy Carroll's goal when he was running towards our back post, Rangel glances over to him but doesn't track him, VDH points to Rangel to go and mark Carroll , the ball comes across to Carroll , Rangel makes an half hearted attempt to close him down then turns is back on the shot then has the cheek to put his hands on his hips and shakes his head. totally shocking. The other was Arsenal's first goal last week. How someone can stand on our penalty spot totally unmarked is criminal at best when there was 4 of our players surrounding him marking nobody is just so poor. | | | |

TBH I think with the new blood giving us a bit of fresh impetus, plus the fact that PC has had more time to work with the squad, we'll spring a shock today.
