I'm on Doc's facebook. The strange thing with him is he never mentions anything about the Swans, just photography, which he's very good at and also what he's gonna do to his driveway.

Well he's dumped me anyway.

No I've noticed.Again very little about the Swans like Doc but where Doc posts driveways you tend to post about the times the binmen come and what your Bichon Frishe had for tea.I still read it though.

I am a member and happy to give my £10 but can I ask what advantage there is for the trust to receive more money? They cannot buy any more shares as the majority shareholders would buy them first, as is their right.
Will it just be a war chest for the future?
If I put this question on Facebook will it stand a better chance of getting answered.
I've read them before....not recently but they've been published at some point Mr.C. Tell a lie I think the binbag episode was the result of the binmen not turning up on its supposed day and foxes tore them to shreds as a result.Close?

The short answer is yes although some of the £10 clearly goes to the running costs (sending newsletters, ballot forms when needed or even at this point could be a consultation document)
The rest will go towards a war chest - lets just say its better to plan now and be ready for something in the future
Apologies for missing this earlier

I thought your first few words meant it would have been better asking via Facebook

Sounds feasible. Although it was more likely to be a passive aggressive dig at the woman opposite who has a small army of horrible cats which are allowed to roam and rip bin bags apart at will

That's the ticket. The cat woman from across the road it was. What is it with older women and umpteen cats? They're always a bit errr wierdy.

To add a word to Phil's complete answer. From day one, the "war chest" has been vital to the very meaning of the Swansea City Supporters Trust.
Knowing the sometimes sad, often painful, history of the club, the Trust understood that one of those rainy days for which the Trust prepares would always come.
Spoke to quite a few people at the game yesterday and asked them what they thought of the Trust Statement. The reply I got from most of them was "What Trust Statement?"

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

It's a patio, not a driveway FFS!
It looked like 5 ton of tarmac dumped at the sie of your house.Your mate saved the day for you and helped you move it all.I was going to offer but I noticed you only had 2 shovels.

Six tons of hardcore to level the garden off. Need another ten before the job is done.

That's a lot and just the sub floor and concrete base no doubt. You'll have to slab it as well i'm guessing?
Still undecided as to whether to just concrete it or slab on top. Slabs would probably be prettier.
