Every football team needs players whose level of endeavour creates doubts in the more skilled players minds.
That doubt is can skill just be enough, the Great thing about football is that EVEN players like Mackie will win games with good endeavour, the more you try the luckier you get.
All of us who play or have played will know moments where we really excelled, Mackie lifts the crowd, exposes fraudulent footballers and he does score valuable goals.
Ramsey has some games where the teams are in far better shape and form than his current selection.
Mackie should be starting in a 442 with Sandro holding and any selection you want from three mf's Faurlin, Luongo, Chery, Tozcer?, Henry,Gladwin, Thomas, Doughty, Phillips,Fer...... | | | |

Smithies can't catch but he can save and distribute.
Charlie is head and shoulders the hardest working player in the team.
Doughty, Gladwin and Faurlin all avoided injury because Ramsey was stupid enough not to play any of them. |  |
