The Official Rugby World Cup Thread on 21:56 - Oct 2 by Brynmill_Jack | I think the Georgians with the right coaching , youth development and funding could be another Italy in a few years time. Really impressed tonight |
They're possibly better than Italy now.

Well maybe just maybe. Great to see the game becoming popular in countries you'd never expect it to

Georgia have happily embraced rugby as it gives them a sport at which they can regularly beat russia. Add the fact that wrestling is pretty much their national sport and they are made for it.

The Official Rugby World Cup Thread on 16:18 - Oct 3 with 1617 views | Aquinas | If Scotland beat South Africa and all but clinch top spot in the group, that means that the second team in our pool would play them next round rather than South Africa. It may be worth losing to the Aussies if that scenario plays out.

If South Africa lose to Scotland and Japan, they won't go through.

Scotland have to beat Samoa, else Japan could qualify by beating USA. Samoa not looking that flash this year though.

Just like our game, it’s a game that could go either way, I certainly hope it goes the same way as last week. England have the better goal kicker, and will probably try to smash Aussie in mauls and set-pieces, and try and win penalties. Aussie have some very dangerous backs, and Pockock and Hooper are better than anything England has — Cipriani, wtf does he know.

The Official Rugby World Cup Thread on 19:54 - Oct 3 with 1547 views | monmouth | The ruperts will find a way to win somehow and f**k us by doing it by less than 7. We'll just have to beat the Oz, send them packing and then get an easy game against the jocks in the QF. At least SA winning should motivate the Oz (lose and the best they can hope for is SA QF and NZ SF), but I think England will simply win by fear of not. Then again...

I'll go for the same prediction as last week, England to lose 18-21

The Official Rugby World Cup Thread on 19:58 - Oct 3 with 1540 views | phact0rri | I get the feeling the ozzies know how well their scrum is looking and they will attempt to push england into their kind of game. it just depends if England let them or can contain the game as to who will win the match IMO Group C is a lot closer than I thought. Hoping to see Japan advance... USA is abysmal.. I don't know why the US don't try to train up NFL players for international rugby... seems even if they didn't know what they were doing would be better than what they are trying to put on the pitch And all this talk here, about trying to get a proper USA rugby league going...
