AL AHLI OUT OF GOMIS DEAL
Dubai-based club Al Ahli are pulling out of a deal for Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis, according to Sky sources.
Al Ahli believed they would be able to take advantage of certain clauses in the 29-year-old France international’s contract, but it is understood those clauses are not what they thought.(sky sports)

I reckon I got promoted a couple of times by just refusing to have an opinion at all, and just agreeing with whoever I happened to be speaking to at the time.
So my opinion is that either he is a whiney pouting money grabbing cheese munching scumbag and good riddance, or that he is a class act, a natural goalscorer and a great guy and thank god he is still with us.

I think the release clause is a bid around £8m, which will cover the signing on fee and any other costs associated with his signing.
