Conrad Logan: An Observation. 18:13 - Aug 23 with 7620 viewsSandy_lane_lad

I have no issues with Josh Lillis being out No.1 Keeper BUT....

Logans turnover from collecting the ball to distributing much better. He looks to break away a lot quicker and he has the accuracy to do so.

Like I say, I have no issues with Lillis at all but I wouldn't mind signing him up until January on loan at least.

I disagree, but that is football and opinions.

Lillis' distribution is better and quicker. Logan is a decent keeper but there were a few times today when he could have come for the ball, especially in the second half.

Couldn't disagree more.

Thought he was superb throughout, in his handling, decision-making and distribution. As mentioned elsewhere, his instinctive reaction to get a hand to the ball when they were clean through was every bit as valuable a save as Fielding's at the end.

Was sat behind that save, and the confidence he has and displays must give the back 4 a massive boost.Im not a big fan of Josh anyway although he has improved greatly to be honest, but Logan is a different class and it's no coincidence hes played at a higher level

Agree, I think Lillis' distribution is decent, but Logan really is a superb keeper whose distribution is excellent.

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor

Lillis' distribution has been excellent since Hilly returned to the club, so many of our attacks last season were due to Lillis's quick and accurate distribution.

Logan has stepped in and has been superb so far, he is much better than I thought he was. He's pulled off a couple of outstanding saves, but its his distribution that has caught my eye. Doesn't matter if he's throwing or kicking, its very rare that he hasn't found a man.

Both good keepers.Hilly's played a blinder with Logan, looks a cracking keeper and what a big unit.Reminds me of a teak wardrobe my grandma used to have in the spare bedroom.

I have to say that I have every confidence in Logan as a temporary replacement for Lillis - he is a steady, assured and competent keeper at this level and I though his distribution today was excellent.

We should all enjoy Logan while he's here, the man oozes class, a real coup to have him here, the confidence he shows is evident, I wouldn't fancy being 1 on 1 with him.

Life is a game of fate.

Superb and Logan seemed genuinely over the moon when we scored, fist pumping to the pearl st end - looks a cut above - very assured. Would be looking to make the switch permanent if I were hilly.

First game today been on holiday but I thought Logan was excellent and at one point in the second half he came rushing out and made himself big and he reminded me of schmichael

Logan is a level above, no doubt about that. What I loved the most was he's not even been with the squad for a week yet and he was absolute berating our defenders after the goal we conceded. Can't beat a keeper who is authoritative and willing to tell people when they need telling. Brilliant.

I'd have thought he was exactly your type OD?

PS: anything happening on the romantic front since your split up?

Can we just focus on the loan (4 weeks) which hopefully Leicester City will extend instead of you all selling the guy, I'm sure other club's look at this site to recruit players!
