Some other teams show early kick offs. I know Palace did when we were in the Championship (I seem to remember it because Liverpool thumped Man Utd). So there's no legal issue why they can't show them (unless there's different rules in the PL).... commercially may be another matter though
That said it may draw people in earlier, who wouldn't otherwise have done so. So there's a potential for extra revenue right there |  | | |

Problem is though as they only show sky, the sky early kick off is in the championship which kicks off at 12:15, so the game is about 60mins in by the time the turnstiles open and is over by 14:10. Then they put on Soccer Saturday with Jeff and the lads. [Post edited 22 Aug 2014 23:47]
